First book I clicked on was listed at $3.02 for Kindle edition...There might be a few tweaks to try.

OK, just figured out what is up, this list does not work if you are a resident of Not-the-United-States. what is a free book in the US will not always be free from where you are. I am in Canuckistan so this does not work.
Could you implement a country filter?

It would be nice if you could search by date published. I've already perused a great many public domain titles but I just know some more recent books are offered for free for short periods of time to boost 'sales' and number of reviews. It would be nice to not have to wade through all the PD books to find them.

/what I get for searching the history tag

Amazon also has some free music in their download store. Most of it's crap, but if you like indie shiat, the Merge samplers are very good. Especially the 2010 one.

It can't be good if it's free.
