I'm sure his first act upon getting ownership would be to rename it the "Trump Times".

It will be a HIGH CLASS newspaper, full of the CLASS and DIGNITY that we've come to expect from Trump.

rufus-t-firefly: It will be a HIGH CLASS newspaper, full of the CLASS and DIGNITY that we've come to expect from Trump.

And it will be GOLD plated. Because nothing says CLASS like cover every farking thing imaginable in gold plating.

Saw the CNN article on this yesterday.

New week, new Trump attempt at self-gratification.

I hope not. The WSJ hasn't been the same since Murdoch bought it. Not bad, just not as good.

This just in: Trump finds a way to get his name in the news.

And on the next episode of Celebrity Douche: Trump has another pointless feud with Bill Maher.

Ah well - newspapers are dying anyway. The Donald will just speed up the process with his bloviating screeds. A mercy killing as it were.

"All of the truly spectacular news that's fit to be printed on this high-quality, world-class paper. Really, you've got to read this. It's fantastic. Never has there been news arranged in this fashion before. We scoured the globe to find people who would type things and then we would print them. It's revolutionary."

He will probably try to have his name put in ever 5th word. "Today 100s died on the Trump highway. Right outside New Trump city."

I'd be surprised if he could afford it.

HellRaisingHoosier: I'd be surprised if he could afford it.

Hasn't he declared bankruptcy numerous times?
Is there a better example of how the rules don't apply to you when you're wealthy?

This is total Trump BS. He has no actual money.

No, he's a much better example of the old saying that if you owe the bank $5,000 dollars and can't pay, you have a problem....but if you owe the bank $5,000,000,000 and you can't pay, the bank has a problem....

It's the only way to bury the story about that hobo he killed in 1998.

This would be so epic. The butt hurt on Fark would supply electricty to the East Coast for weeks.

Not like the New York Times is trusted or respected anymore. Those days have long since passed. The Enquirer is actually more credible.

Not like the New York Times treats their unions worth a shiat either. Not like they do not give their execs bonuses as they continue to lay off folk and cut benefits. But lilke most liberals, it is a do as I say, not as I do type of deal.

Actually, I hope Glenn Beck buys the NYT.

/"Mr. Clean Energy" Al Gore sold his network to an oil baron nation. Classic too.

Trump manages to lose money running casino's, and they're a licence to print money, so him buying a newspaper would be spectacular.
