Lionel Mandrake: halfof33: I mean what kind of sociopath would look a victim's loved one right in the eye, and lie?

Hillary Clinton: "We're going to have that person arrested and prosecuted that did the video." To Tyrone Woods father.

Her contempt for the Constitution is breathtakingly cynical.

Keep going...you've almost convinced me.

Question: Did Clinton ever admit saying this? It's a really strange comment to make because whether or not she thought the guy who made the video was responsible, the 1st amendment would pretty much prevent the US gov't from doing a damn thing about the video's producer. Anyone? I'm sure 16.5 has the answer on this.

/BTW, if I don't get an answer you're going to be demerited .1 and forced to go through life as 16.4 until you make it up to me

Aar1012: Therefore, Barack Obama was handing terrorists RPGs in Benghazi and killed the Ambasador with purple dildo shaped bat.

Wait Obama is the Leader of The Saints?
/And that's the plot for Saints Row 4.

Fixed that. Sorry, shiatty old computer

Hey, it's a poor craftsman who blames his tools.

The only sources I find are conservative media outlets.

The best I could come up with is the NY Post and the Orange County Register.

So yeah...

Oh, I know from the research I've done that the quote is provided by Tyrone Woods' father calling into a conservative radio show and saying that this is what Clinton said to him at the memorial service. No reputable news outfit would hang too much of a hat on that considering the tone the caller had for most of his first hand report.

Halli: halfof33: Hillary Clinton: "We're going to have that person arrested and prosecuted that did the video." To Tyrone Woods father.

"What difference does it make?" Hillary Clinton.

What was the next thing Clinton said?

I belive only Tyrone Wood's father knows what she said, since the quote came from the father calling into the Lars Larson radio show.

What do you belive Hillary said?

halfof33: Clinton: Was it because of a protest (NO THIS IS IS A LIE) or was it because of guys out for a walk one night who decided they'd go kill some Americans (NO THIS IS A LIE? What difference, at this point, does it make?

It is our job to figure out what happened and do everything we can to prevent it from ever happening again, Senator.

And the administration failed because they were out chasing a lie about the video.

Hillary Clinton: "We're going to have that person arrested and prosecuted that did the video." To Tyrone Woods father.

She was refering to the motivation of the attackers. Preventing future attacks where the motivation is a video insulting islam on youtube or the US having too many fingers in too many middle east pies will be rather difficult to do because of freedom of speech and the US government likes all of the benefits they get from a controlling position in the middle east.

I think that would be an incredibly silly comment for any career politician to make. Certainly she'd be aware of the existence of the constitution, don't you think? I would have far more likely expected her to say something like, " We're going to get the people responsible for the the death of your son."

I mean, look at the sentence structure... "We're going to have that person arrested and prosecuted that did the video". Does that sound like something that any secretary of state would ever say to anyone? It's so grammatically out of whack it's probably something the father put together in his own head from things that people said to him and things he heard on the news during the terrible grieving he must have been doing for his lost son.

I think people agree that the threat should've been taken more seriously and that there should've been more security.

But that doesn't seem to be what the GOP is concerned about.

Ha the Republicans are still smarting from trying to after Hillary armed with nothing but Fox News talking points. I wonder who said that brilliant plan was going to work? Wille E. Coyote?

Also I think Rand Paul farked up with his little showboating stunt. If he was not on the Big Dog family radar, he sure is now.

What if their brains are just one big clot? Treatment could kill them.

No. I'm not saying it was malicious or anything like that. Just seems strange to me that a woman who's been in politics as long as Hillary and who was married to the motherfarking president of the United States of America would know that the stupid youtube video is protected by the 1st amendment. That's all.

Add to that the fact that the father of the dead SEAL is clearly anti-Obama (more accurately probably anti-Dem) and that he was very likely deep in grief at the time the meeting took place. Not exactly the state of mind that's suited to accurately recalling what was said to you by the person you likely blame for getting your kid killed in the first place. None of it makes a damn lick of sense.

And you wonder why the media hasn't run with this outside of the GOP echoverse? Firstly, they can't corroborate anything. Secondly, the media probably doesn't want to turn all kinds of attention onto this poor guy and his family over what's essentially nothing. Let the dude and his family grieve for the kid.

halfof33: Hillary Clinton: "We're going to have that person arrested and prosecuted that did the video." To Tyrone Woods father.

Well, that's pretty much the textbook definition of hearsay, but let's put that quote in context with four indisputable facts anyhow:

1) the people responsible for the Benghazi consulate attack stated that they attacked the consulate to protest the video.
2) diplomatic missions in multiple countries were attacked during violent demonstrations to protest that video
3) people in multiple countries died during violent demonstrations to protest that video

And finally,

4) Hillary Clinton has a law degree from Yale. There's no way in hell she said that.

SithLord: Suggestion: Since the Democrats controlled the House during the Reagan administration then it's obvious they tricked President Reagan (Peace Be Upon His Name) into signing this into law and, thus, this is all their fault

This is what Republicans really believe...

/not kidding.

And 30 years from now when we look back and see that Obama never pushed for a budget, the Democrats will look back and say that the Republicans in the House stalled on that issue.

This is what democrats actually believe.

\not kidding.

The funding that was still 18% more than 2 years prior?

The funding that the state official in charge of security stated had zero effect on benghazi security decisions?

Another notable thing about this is, despite the fact that I have repeatedly shown that the Administration told serial lies about the event (and I'll avoid repeating the links lest I be accused of "spam") is the outrage shown to people who don't blindly accept the Government's lies and are personally attacked, repeatedly, as "demented" and the like.

Yeah; I have a lot of sympathy for individuals like 33/2 are still worked up about this. I actually kind of feel bad for that guy.

But for the life of me, I can't figure out why the Republican party is still working on it.

Unless... perhaps the republican party itself has become a paranoid schizophrenic with accompanying personality disorders?

Exactly. Experiencing a personal tragedy renders you immune from scrutiny or criticism on any statement you make. That's why nobody ever tried to discredit Cindy Sheehan, for instance.
