Dolours Price married the Belfast actor Stephen Rea in 1983 and they had two sons, but he divorced her in 2003.

FTA: Irish police, not naming Price, said they were investigating the sudden death of a woman in her 60s in Dublin late on Wednesday evening. They said there was no initial indication of foul play.

So she knew all there was to know about the Crying Game...

I saw that movie with my girlfriend at the time. About 15 minutes or so before Dil whipped her dick out for the big surprise, I said to my girlfriend, "You know, that actress who plays Dil is pretty cute."

Interestingly, by dying, her previously sealed interview now can become public. So if anybody was trying to "silence" her, they would have done everything they could to keep her alive.

Interviewees were told their words, believed to give details of possible roles played by current political figures during the Northern Ireland conflict, including Sinn Fein President Gerry Adams, would remain sealed until their deaths.

Her death clears one obstacle for the release of the material she gave to the archive to police in Northern Ireland.

Much of the IRA didn't like, or tolerate, drug running / dealing. They used to maim people who chose that for their occupation.

True, unless it was in response to this:

"The book was published in 2010, and that year Price also tied Adams to McConville's death in a newspaper interview."

/still seems unlikely

I drove my Saracen up your entry last night
I kicked your door in at the break of daylight
I get this feeling that you're avoidin' me
And when I catch you you're goin' for your tea

Oh' I've got a brand new shiny helmet and a pair of kinky boots
I've got a frilly blackjack and a lovely khaki suit
And when we go on night patrol we hold each others hands
We are the British Army and we're here to take you land. Oh, ROR

Police confirmed that there were no chickens, ducks, geese, quail, or pheasant involved in playing with the deceased. That should be enough.

I am in no way an expert in Irish history (far from it), but I make this comment as I believe it is safe to say Gerry Adams is both currently anti-treaty and would have been anti-treaty. This, although Michael Collins was a member of Sinn Fein, Fine Gael claim their origins from the pro-treaty (Michael Collins) Irish.

In all sincerity, I would welcome any input you might have that would advance my knowlege of Irish history.

My great-grandparents were born and raised in Abbeyfeal, which sadly enough had a Sinn Fien office on the main street, complete with a huge picture of the terrorist Gerry Adams on the back wall...felt like I needed to take a 3 month shower to remove the slime just for walking in the office...

She wasn't young, led a hard life, and that hunger strike can't have been good for her. On the other hand, she was thought to be an informant, so someone might have killed her for that reason. Or, she could have just died, it happens to people occasionally, from what I've heard.

Most of the Republican politicians from that era have bloody hands. Sweeping it all under the carpet is the price that has to be paid for the ballot box and not the bomb to decide things in Northern Ireland.

No one in power wants a South African style truth and reconciliation committee to be set up as Adams, McGuiness and company would have to admit how many people they ordered murdered and HMG don't want the collusion with Loyalists murders to come to light.

I will be an old man (and all of the people involved will be dead) before the complete truth comes out.
