What about the Mickey head in the first Tron, (though that was a Disney film, so they had a reason to be subliminal).

tenpoundsofcheese: Lucas is without a doubt the best film maker in the last 72 years. This is just further proof.

Hugh2d2: I would like to formally request that Disney get Lawrence Kasdan to write Star Wars Episode 7. That dude knows how to write a screenplay.

Too bad Irvin Kershner died a couple years ago - that dude knows how to direct a Lucas film.

I'm going with coincidence. One of the defining features of a hidden mickey is a head significantly larger than the ears - these 3 circles are all the same size.

Oh my gawd.

JJ knew even then that he would get the next Star Wars film?????

there are a couple guys at ilm that try to pull off sneaking artoo into a shot on every show.

it's a less irritating practice than all the mouthbreathing sound idiots that overuse the wilhelm.

wut? Do you know how many people have enjoyed his work? How much our culture has been influenced by The Man? How many people have copied his style and work (looking at you Tarantino).

From your appearances on the politics tab I always thought you were sincere, but deeply stupid. Now I think you just made it crystal clear that you're actually just playing a character like Stephen Colbert.

Carry on! From now on I'll read your posts with the proper satirical intent intact.

Ishkur: It's a Deadmau5 helmet.

No, seriously.

In the movie that came out a year before he was even born? Sounds legit.

One of my favorite exchanges in Last Crusade was in the catacombs when Dr. Schneider asks Indy what a particular symbol is. He says it's the Ark of the Covenant, she asks him if he's sure, and he says (to a Raiders musical cue), "Pretty sure."

I would jam both of them.

and, that is hardly an easter egg. If you have to tell someone it existed after 30 years, and if someone pointed out to me that wasn't the creator and I say "oh come on, thats just 3 random circles," I don't think it qualifies as an easter egg. Mickey mouse's head in tron, that was an easter egg.
