Earguy: My local tv guy is a weather geek, and excellent.
RexTalionis: Most of the data on websites like Weather Underground or Weather.com is based off of data that they obtain from NOAA anyway. The only difference is that places like Weather.com would massage the data a little bit before it is repackaged to the mass audience - often in ways that make it less accurate than the NOAA data they started out with.
wxboy: Bad news for everybody recommending wunderground. The Weather Channel bought them last year. Even if it's still OK, it's only a matter of time before TWC fully assimilates it.Also, I endorse www.weather.gov. You're already paying for it, might as well use it.

grokca: bob_ross: Basements don't usually have windowsThen you will have to use weather underground.
cgraves67: Weather Channel app. It's better than the cable channel (no commercials, no extreme weather shows) and it's probably just NOAA's numbers anyway, and they are generally not wrong.
bighairyguy: Stock rain clip art is surprisingly creepy:[img33.imageshack.us image 745x1048]
