Okay, that was actually pretty cool. I also liked how they didn't change taxis.

and also "suck it, everyone else in the world who has to suffer the consequences of my decision to drive 'a gas guzzling behemoth.'"

Makes me long for the days of WWII, when people at least had a "we're all in this together" mentality.

Makes me wonder on how that computer/camera setup will render a traffic accident happening in real time.

That looks pretty cool, although not cool enough to check it out on my walk to the train tonight. It's way too cold for that!

Wish they had used more than one color car, but that was pretty cool.

Pelvic Splanchnic Ganglion: Wish they had used more than one color car, but that was pretty cool.

I wish that they had used some actual footage of it rendering cars in real time. All I saw was a single clip of cars being displayed played over and over again with no corresponding correlating angles on the traffic inter spliced with staged reaction shots.

All that cool technology, and they could not turn the pedestrians into hot naked women?

Apparently these future cars will stop and go in a jerky, odd motion. Or is that NYC traffic?

Cool concept, cool execution... but who the hell actually makes this face when looking at an ad? I swear, you see this "hands clasped gasping" motion all the time, and it's just patently ridiculous. Winning an Oscar? Being proposed to? Sure. Seeing a bloody ad on a NY street? No farkin' way.

New Yorkers are not known for being rational people.

That aside (though I can't say I really agree), it's certainly not something limited to NY ads. The "clasped gasp" appears constantly in advertisements. Apparently ad folks believe that women have a tendency to wet their pants whenever confronted with 'ooo shiny'.
