CSB: A friend of mine recently interviewed with 3M. Or toured it, or something, he was there with a couple other people.

Now any Twin Cities resident has driven past the big 3M building in Maplewood many times, but apparently the full campus is the size a major university.
3M had them go to some huge, dark auditorium and watch an introductory movie. It starts naming each division at 3M, in a big booming voice, says something like "plastics", and a spotlight comes on in the auditorium, and lights up a podium displaying something from that division. Goes on to name each division, and sure enough there is a spotlight with sample product/platform for each one.

I thought it was funny, if they did that in a movie or TV show I'd say "yeah, right, as if anyone would actually do that".

I worked for 3M.  The campus is like any large corporate campus and like any large company they have intro videos on the history of the company and what they make.  Its better than most.

The physical props with dramatic stage lighting are what struck me as a bit over the top.
Sorry if that wasn't clear from my CSB.
