People actually have to be told to eat the leftovers in the fridge?

Whoever wrote this article never had teenage boys, leftovers never make it past nightly snack time. aside from that, there's very few leftover that will stay decent for more than a day or two in the fridge, if it's not eaten by the following day it's usually in the trash the next.

I like how posts upthread claim you're a fatty for NOT eating the entire meal in one sitting.

When we make chili or something, sometimes it's perfectly the amount we are hungry for but other times you can't quite finish or don't feel like stuffing the last bit of pasta noodles from the pot into the plate. If there's still a bowls' worth, why throw it away? It tastes just fine a day or two from now. I don't know why that's "do people REALLY have SO MUCH EXTRA food?" It isn't usually a whole second meal for 4, that's why TFA mentions cobbling together several meals.

And a lot of posts whining about the post itself. Do you guys not click 90% of the links on Fark? No, it hasn't "come to this", the first few posts I glance at on Fark mention a chicken wing shortage, a kid jizzing in a mint bottle and fat shaming. Truly, this fluff article about food maximization is trespassing on a veritable forum of genius.

this is news? In my humble household leftovers are my lunch or become ingredients in another meal.

clean the fridge night for me involves a lot of "what the hell is that?" and "is that supposed to have fur?"
