A transgendered person can be homosexual or bisexual.

But it always turns out the same... you end up being your own uncle, and tear the time-space continuum.

Not if you were both inside, and both sides of your both decided to transgenderate themselves at the same time so that you were still both inside, but both halves of your both were not both both oppositely,

Our son is in choir and drama and football. He is straight.

In football, yea prepare for that coming out party : )

A bisexual woman can legitimately claim to be lesbian, gay, and bisexual all at the same time.

Lesbians can (and often do) use the word "gay" to describe themselves. It's not for men only.

While not all bisexuals consider themselves to be gay/lesbian, many do. And while many bisexuals see bisexuality as a "third" orientation, neither gay nor straight, some bisexuals see themselves as both gay AND straight.

And the younger they are, the more labels that I've never heard of they seem to add. At the risk of sounding like an old fogey, kids these days seem to have come up with as many different labels as there are non-hetero people.

Here's another one for you: heteroflexible.
There's also "bi-curious," but that's not all that new.

Oh, there's way more than that. I've been working categorizing a research survey where we allowed respondents to self-identify and you've got 13 or 14 year old kids using strings of labels that a queer theory grad student wouldn't have heard of 5 years ago.

Is "trysexual" offically accepted yet?

wildcardjack: gingerjet: CthulhuCalling: Why do they differentiate gay and lesbian?

Don't get me started.  I was once called a self-hating gay because I used glbt instead of lgbt.  I've since refused to use the god awful acronym at all

/i laughed at the headline.

ell - gee - bee - tee works smoother on the tongue than gee - ell - bee - tee.

GBT might be the smoothest option but leaves out visions of lesbians writhing in passionate embrace for all the breeders.

There's always QUILTBAG, if you want to be overly inclusive.

Smart move. Before coming out, it probably would have been really difficult for him to find a boyfriend. Now he'll probably have an inbox full of date requests from some of the hottest gay guys in school.
