Whereas Dolph Ziggler would become one with the rig. Bastard would glow in his casket.

Dolph Ziggler has the work ethic to oversell death itself with some wild flippin' and floppin.

In MSG's defense, the Dolans cut the lights budget to put more money towards making Cablevision suck more

I like the ref. His arm gets the smackdown from that thing as it fell, but he turns right back around and helps lift, and even has a really calm demeanor about the whole thing.

The timing was awesome. The ref points, he gets down, the thing falls. 1-2-3

I guess you could say...

(Puts on shades)

He finally saw the light.

YEEAAAHHH!!

What a great story:

1. Seems like an average nice high school kid in the interview.
2. Miraculously the injuries were quite minor.
3. The kid is not going crazy about how the school should have done its lighting properly, and how he has all this "pain and suffering" and someone has got to pay!! They are not suing the school district.
4. He "lost" due to injury or whatever, but he's not going crazy over that either, because hey, he's alive and well, his opponent gave him the medal, and you know what, it's JUST high school wrestling.

May everyone involved in this story have a long life and prosper, and may they do a better job with the lighting in future.

To be fair, I have a feeling that if this kid had been seriously hurt there would eventually be lawsuits as to who was ultimately responsible.

But ya, it is kind of nice when you are able to walk away with a few bumps and bruises you don't get all sue happy over it. And yes, both this kid and the one who was named the winner both showed a lot of class.

If he was seriously hurt, then of course he should sue. Litigation is not inherently bad, but it should be reserved for when actual harm is done. He would probably have a case under the current circumstances, but it is nice to see that the family is not taking that route considering that the injuries were minor and the kid is all right.

In HS did tech work/stage hand /AV, whatever you want to call it.

Had a big, dumb mother farker rig a scene fly. He thought if he could control it, all was good even if he had to turn the fly tension up (never EVER change the fly tension without telling people).

During a dress rehearsal l, in my 145 lb glory, wound up 10' over the catwalk one arm holding the fly cable, one arm holding the next clamped fly cable, yelling for someone to close the cam for the loose fly.

Sucks for the kid. Wrestling's a highly demanding sport, and you don't get to hit the circle in madison square garden every day.

The family does not plan to file suit against the district.

Why do you hate America?
