Haven't some of the actors passed away? You'd need some sort of time machine.

It's a lie / distraction.

The real story is that Matt Smith will be retiring and that's his last episode. Leaked picture of the new Doctor:

Falcon Hunter: Freema and John Barrowman are both in the US at the moment filming "The Carrie Diaries" and "Arrow" respectively.

Freema Agyeman and AnnaSophia Robb are in the same show? Time to remove my pants and turn on the TV.

What about Rose?

nope. tfa said no recent assistants pretty much.

Graham Norton had Billie Piper on his show a couple weeks back and asked her about it. She answered with a firm "No."

Good. She's awful and symptomatic of everything that was bad about the reboot. She's the herpes of companions. Just when you think she's gone, she flares back up.

I think the red menace beat Rose in that department. Hell, they even did a 5 episode farewell tour season for that one that left even Red's most ardent supporters saying "WTF? Why didn't they just go away at the end of last season? This makes no sense."

Aahh...Doctor Who.
The show that has the message about love and friends, yet people everywhere whine like rabid fanboys about people they like and don't like.

Message of love and friendship?

Sure you're not thinking of this Doctor...?

I can't imagine a scenario in where multiple Doctors *don't* ask successive ones how they bit it.

I mean, yeah, save the universe an all, but I'd at least take a moment to catch up with myself.

"I fall off a radio dish? Really? And I became *that* guy? Seriously, Seven, getting shot by LA gangbangers? And what's up with you, Eight? How'd you go and f*ck things up so bad?"

"Well ... timey-wimey ..."

"Shut up, Ten. Go buy a hairbrush."

You know they'll hand-wave that by saying "wibbly wobbly timey wimey" right?

They haven't given two craps about canon or following their own rules for two seasons now.

ExperianScaresCthulhu: FirstNationalBastard: NYRBill: what about a Torchwood crossover?
[i230.photobucket.com image 340x512]

I dunno... Torchwood still has US Stink on it from Miracle Day...

I liked Miracle Day. I didn't like the Vagina At The Center Of The Earth ending, but I liked Miracle Day. We got to see Jack with a true love who wasn't Ianto and who wasn't female and married to him. None of the Team died. And this

[pauseliveaction.files.wordpress.com image 275x183]

is always Win. THAT'S feminism, not that old 'being a stripper/whore/eyecandy with a fancy security clearance' crap that US television pulls. Dealing with the everyday life of everyday women who have to deal with extraordinary shiat.. that scene will always be one of my fondest memories of that show.

That scene was truly the best thing in the history of ever, and I prefer to believe that Torchwood ended at that very moment.

I still can't bring myself to watch the last episode. At first I thought it was my son's dirty diapers. Then I realized it was the script.

But for a 14 year old ginger gay nerd watching the episodes on PBS in the 80s - he was a dreamboat.

Man, if they had shown the later Peter Davison episodes, you would have loved Turlough.

finally someone who knows how to pilot the TARDIS, and get it back to within a few feet and a few minutes of where it started. Though a spoiler may need to be added to the top.

I still love the thread where we were discussing that Amy could die and have a later season with Rory as a heartbroken bad guy. At the end of that year, you find an old man pulling the strings who is revealed to be a scarred and twisted Adric.

FAR FAR too dark for DW, but man, an old evil Adric who is hellbent on ruining the Doctor for letting him kill himself would be great.

Oh, lawd. I remember when the local PBS pledge drive offered the supposedly authentic pattern for that scarf with pledges. My parents pledged, my grandma made the scarf, and I still have it somewhere in the closet.

SilentStrider: Christopher Eccleston has been the only hold-out, though he is reconsidering, which is fabulous fantastic news

fixed.

AndI cannot be the only one who thinks that is incredibly cool. I was a fan if four as a kid, but Nine was my first Doctor as an adult, and  he absolutely crushed the role.

Every time I've read about Eccleston not being involved with a Doctor Who 50th anniversary episode, I've always thought "...because Voltron vs. The Bionic Six vs. Silverhawks is filming that week?"

He did a GI Joe movie... surely another Doctor Who appearance couldn't be out of the question.

And now, it doesn't seem to be, which is fantastic.
