brantgoose: It occurred to me while reading this headline earlier today that they publish lists of child molesters and sex offenders living in your neighborhood so that you can prepare to protect yourself and your family accordingly, so why wouldn't they publish a list of people with arsenals the size of a Columbian drug lord's?

You have a right to be safe from dicks but not from a gun that can fire 200 rounds a minute? It makes no farking sense except to a guy with enough cognitive dissonnance in his head to qualify for extra SIN cards.

Manufacturers should be required to put a registration number on every firearm sold ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD and sellers should register the name, address and take a photograph of every person who buys a weapon, along with the particulars of the weapon and any modifications subsequently made to it, or ammo sold for it. These photos should be posted publically (on websites) so that everybody knows where all the child molestors, rapists and shooters are located.

You have as much right to know who is likely to shoot you or provide a gun to somebody who will shoot you as you have to know who molests little children.

You should know exactly how many shots your neighbor has to get you with should you accidently open the wrong door when coming home in the dark.
