Is there really a huge push for a reunion? Am I missing something here?

Eh, it was one of those shows without a proper ending, but otherwise... no, there's no one clamoring for a reunion.

/just happy season 8 is being released on DVD next week. Only one more season to go after this.

I bet those people look pretty mournful nowadays. Markie Post was hot back in the day though. That show was pretty risque for its time if I recall. I remember the old baliffs kept dying so they finally got a big black chick who couldn't be killed.

Not long after Night Court, Dan Felding left the law field and became a spy before appearing on Chuck.

This is a guy who should embrace that role. Hang on to it as long as he can. Shave his head, dress as a bailiff and appear as Bull everywhere in normal life. What has he done since? at least he can sign autographs for money and all that.

He said he'd run in the other direction if asked to do a reunion. Why? "I like show business. It's the people I can't stand." or something like that.

Moll: "I love show business - it's the people I can't stand!" i.e., either Harry Anderson or John Larrouquette is the William Shatner of "Night Court".

CSB (not really):

Back in (I think) '05 when TV Land started airing it, Ithey kicked it off with an 8 hour marathon. Well, I had just experienced a bad break-up w/a girlfriend the day before. Since I had no interest in getting off the couch anyway, I sat and watched the entire thing. By the time it was over, I couldn't even remember her name, much less care about the break-up. Thank you, Night Court.

Did not!

He stayed a lawyer, working in a firm with Captain Kirk, Constable Odo, Murphy Brown, and Steff from Pretty in Pink.

After saying no, he follows up by saying, "I love show business... it's the people that I can't stand."

I've heard other hints about how big of a jerk John Laroquette was; that's probably who he's talking about. Especially since most of the others appeared on an episode of 30 Rock.

John was a recently recovering alcoholic then so I'd put my money on him.

If Moll's going to keep it as vague as that, I'm going to assume the Shatner was him.

Richard Moll should do voices for animated films. He has a great voice for that.

My brother was working on a project with her a couple of months ago and had her call me out of the blue hoping it would blow me away. Instead we had a polite discussion about Oregon, where she went to school. Oddly the topic of me fapping to pics of her in that pink bikini when I was a teenager never came up. :)

I graduated from the same high school that Hillary Clinton did. Back in ~92 Hillary and Bill were campaigning and made a stop at our school. For whatever reason Markie Post was with them. It was a far bigger deal seeing Markie Post than Hillary and Bill. I was not alone thinking this either.

Say what you will, but in the 90s Hillary had quite the turd cutter on her. I still remember when the Clintons came to visit the troops in Bosnia back around 98 while I was there. I remember her and Chelsea walking by on the way to the podium where Slick Willie was going to give his speech and thinking "Damn, Hillary and Chelsea got some nice asses on them!" and I was not alone in thinking this. Of course this was after being deployed for a number of months, but it certainly wasn't bad.

Richard Moll is a staple in terrible Sci-fi flicks in the 1980s and '90s. He always played the bad guy. I have no idea what he's been in lately, but his sci-fi roles are pretty hilariously over played.

nah, i'm just obscure.

There was an episode that had Dan stranded in alaska? or something and he met a native and gave his name as "Dan. Dan Fielding" so of course the native eskimo guy started calling him DanDan Fielding.

My mom and I found that hilarious and we repeated it for years. It's pretty much the only detail of the show that I remember clearly. I have always loved John Larroquette, inexplicably.
