Don't forget having to order it under an assumed name.  Fark even contributed an idea with "Roget Goodell."

Didn't you guys hear?  Goodell TOTALLY kept the 9/11 Bowl in New Orleans and the Saints themselves in New Orleans pleasedon'tpointouthewasjustdoingwhathisbossTagliabuewantedhimtodo.  He's a righteous dude.

I mentioned to someone either on Facebook or here, but I wonder if there will be enough Saints fans at the Super Bowl to copy the NHL tradition of booing the commish when he tries to award the championship trophy.

Right now, somewhere in the float barns, Krewe d'Etat is hurriedly revising their floats by removing various objects from orifices on depictions of Goodell.

Yeah, Roger Goodell definitely cares what Saints fans think of him.

The fact that he lifted Payton's suspension immediately before coming here would sure suggest that he does.

Or at least he doesn't want to have to hire a food taster.

He's now saying he meant the Saints season, not the NFL season.  Please ignore the previous mentions of being suspended for the NFL season.

Hate is a powerful motivator, and the whole Saints organization is super-p*ssed with Goodell and the league. I wouldn't be surprised if they win it all next year, and go 19-0 in the process.

Mr. Goodell, your limo has a broken tail light, in New Orleans it is illegal to ride in the back of a limo with a broken tail light, you a looking at a $1,000,000 fine and 6 months in prison.

His plane will be fired on by missiles, his limos will require armed guards, and we will only let him in and out of the stadium as part of a "we don't want to damage the 'Dome with bullets" treaty.

Goodell is still most wanted #1 in New Orleans.

All the hate in the KKK, nazi party, al qaeda, and the anti-patriots hate brigade combined wont get the Saints into the playoffs unless they do something about that god awful defense.

Maybe Payton took all the tackling dummies with him when he was suspended and now he'll being them back.

Yeah, the nerve of that Steve Spagnuolo not getting more out of a unit that was 24th in yards allowed under Gregg Williams the year before. How dare he.

i'm not blaming him. i'm saying that the timing was bad. the defense wasn't great to begin with, and then to try to change everything all of a sudden is a pretty complicated endeavor. as the season went on, there were moments where the pieces came together, but those were unfortunately fleeting. now, i think this will be a much more productive off season and the pieces will have a better chance of coming together. i don't think the saints' defense will instantly become the best, but i think next season, it will be better

Worst in the World did seem to be getting better towards the end of the season.  Spags is a good defensive mind and I certainly can't endorse the urge of some to dump him right off.   And fark, it's GOT to be better next year, lol.

I obviously love Spags because of what he did with the Giants defense, so I hope they are patient with him down there. They need to get some players in there that'll suit his scheme and I'm reasonably confident he'll turn that group around. It's easy to forget too, the Giants defense was a total nightmare in the early part of Spagnuolo's first season as DC.

Worst case scenario is he would be randomly vomited on by an obese shirtless frat guy from Kentucky.

Or perhaps teabagged in the Bourbon Street Krystal Burger.

I know. Been down there. The trick to New Orleans is that when it gets weird and the sun is coming up, get to Dauphine and Conti for a Deja Vu Omelet and begin anew. When I was 18 or 19 we got ripped off on some "weed" on Bourbon, made a fuss with the slinger until the police wandered over and made us pay him again, chuckling all the way. Got caught another time sneaking into Wynton Marsalis via the side door at HOB and the bouncers, again laughingly and theatrically, took all of my cash from my wallet to see if the bills were my ticket, lol. I was in the wrong both times, so wth can I say? My memories of Nawlins is like a Disneyworld, where the mascots accost you and shake you down but you have a great time. Where you wake up at the Hyatt by the Dome, with a Ponchartrain Hotel ice bucket in your bed and proof that there is a place on earth you can purchase a real human skull bong sitting on the dresser.

Personally, I don't even plan on being in the city.

Have you seen the traffic restriction maps for superbowl?  It'll be easier to navigate in the Baghdad Green Zone than in the CBD.

No chance. If you read Peter King you'd know that Goodell does 50,000 situps every day before talking about how he pulled himself up by the bootstraps using nothing but his wit, guile, and the name of his father, a former US Senator.

No chance that fewer than 1,000 people would be able to take the Ginger Hammer in a fight. They'd all lose.
