Netflix seems to be pretty good at their original programming. I enjoyed Lilyhammer and I'm super-excited for House of Cards. Having Arrested Development back as a Netflix show doesn't hurt, even if it isn't a Netflix original.

As a guy who loved Zombieland I was hoping for a sequel. But this just sounds weak.

Where will they get the Twinkies?

We already live in a post-apocalyptic future, long past the expiration date of the last remaining Twinkies.

This will be 1000 times better then walking dead - that show had promise in season 1 and then it went right in the shiatter. Might as well add some comedy - maybe add Simon Pegg into the mix too. Also it better have more Bill Murray... and snakes on a motherfarking plane

Have you seen any of season 3, or did you stop at 2 (which would be understandable)?

Is it all going to be amusement park themed?

That IS what the title referred to, right? The culmination of the storyline in the amusement park?

I agree, Ian Richardson was fantastic in House of Cards.

The second season dragged, that is true, but the third season has been fantastic.

The best thing TWD did was kill off the characters that made Season 2 such a suckfest.

/S3 Carl isn't the same character as S2 Carl

I was talking about the re-make (or at least I think it's a remake) with Kevin Spacey. I've never seen the original. Is it worth watching?

The Spacey version isn't out yet. Netflix revamped it for the American audience with Spacey as the lead. They'll be releasing it soon though.

first half of second season WD; pure shiat. Everything since; extremely watchable. Zombieland the movie was great. Woody Harlson, Emma Stone, and the greatest cameo of all time. I just dont think a tv show can capture it, i really dont.
On a sidenote, i just rewatched Arrested Development on Netflix for the first time since it originally aired. I've caught a few eps on IFC, but to see it in its entirety again was awesome. Im so psyched that Netflix brought it back. This and Community are hands down just too good for the average mouthbreathers watching "comedies" on tv. Thats all.

And really guys, do we need to have the same link about zombie land the TV show every week?

Katie Couric's Crotch: Doesn't double tap mean to kill?

Yes indeed. In fact, "double tap" goes beyond the mere inflicting of a fatal wound to make doubly sure that someone is dead by insisting on the wisdom of imparting a second shot just to be sure.

The headline means exactly the opposite of what it says.

//  Unfortunately, this headline was only single redlit, so it came back to life.
//  Details.

Its a joke / pun

The pun is that to "tap" something usually means taking it on or approving it.

The "double tap" is joke about one of the important "rules" in the movie.

Spacey is one of those rare actors who you will watch anything he's in, even if you were told the show sucked, because how can it possibly suck if he's in it?

No. He's a b-actor who somehow keeps getting starring roles.

bborchar: How long before the zombie-themed shows/books/movie/everything fad is officially over?

I would say as long as you have product with decent casting, plot, and writing.... never. The backdrop hardly matters if everything else is in place. vampires, ghosts, werewolves, witches, wizards and aliens have endured for quite a long time as 'things we use to tell fictional tales'. I see no problem with having zombies in the mix.

It'll be a while. I figure it'll last until the next thing starts. Before zombies we had 20 years of vampire dominance. (We're still seeing vampires, and though I think Twilight is annoying, those particular undead have found refuge in a young audience and I think will once again rise.) I think we still have 8-10 years of the "zombie heyday." What's next? Vampires again, probably. Who knows? I think zombies and vampires (and to a lesser extent, werewolves) are all popular because they're all communicable conditions (by bite). Ghosts and mummies don't have that going for them. Vampires can be sexy, zombies not so much. Though we might start seeing a hybridization of the zombie and vampire into something new.

Depending on how well "Warm Bodies" does we might start seeing more sexified zombies and zombie experimentation and zombie evolution. This might give the zombie an un-life extension.

Are werewolves due for a comeback? I just don't think so...

Personally, I'm pulling for aliens. Or maybe Zombaliens.

After having reviewed the DVD frame-by-frame, I can tell you with certainty that the positions of the actors in relation to one another in the still frame are different than in the movie. Also, the shelf in the grocery store did not appear to have a box of Twinkies on it anywhere during that entire scene.

/ Yes, I do have to much time on my hands.
