Now, that is a ting-tang walla-walla bing bang!

2013-01-22 12:42:35 PM
Big deal. They can all get rezzes from a cleric and get most of their exp back.

2013-01-22 12:42:48 PM
I'm guessing a gas leak plus some sort of minor pyrotechnics he used to impress clients.

A buh?

I firmly support a 5 day waiting period on cantrips, and certification from a wizard's guild before you can carry a concealed wand.

MAGIC CONTROL NOW!

Except that's not what he said! He distinctly said "To Blave," which we all know means "to bluff." So you're probably playing cards, and he cheated!

Sure, obviously magic missile is a better choice.

Or lightning bolt.

He should have used his attack toads or zombie dogs instead.

/sounds ugly....

Meh. Sorcerers are always an unpredictable lot. If you want consistent results it best to have a wizard in your party.

Dont forget no high capacity magic scrolls. No more than ten spells per scroll. Oh, and no assault wands, those things are military equipment made for nothing but killing.

You think traditional beliefs must be accompanied by primitive infrastructure? We're talking about a suburb of Harare here, not some Khoisan village. It's not first world, but it has power and gas, yes.

It's disappointing, but you just can't rely on Africans for your lightning manufacturing, as this latest test shows. Hopefully our pilot in Suriname will go better.

He was probably mixing up a "magical " potion of saltpeter, sulfur, and Honey over an open fire. Honey charred, mix lit up, and BOOM.

Give this a read. Or watch the episode somewhere. "Column of fire" about describes what you see in the video, although it could have been worse if the pot was covered.

It doesn't sound any more paranoid or superstitious than people who fear HAARP is doing the exact same thing.
