neversubmit: I some how read "Penis caught in slow boner..." maybe I'm having a stroke.
whatsupchuck: A twelve inch pianist?
joseelsegundo: Your hand may be stilled, but your gift cannot be silenced if you refuse to let it be.
jfivealive: neversubmit: I some how read "Penis caught in slow boner..." maybe I'm having a stroke. It's probably all that time lapse pornography you've been watching
sdd2000: joseelsegundo: Your hand may be stilled, but your gift cannot be silenced if you refuse to let it be.Kudos on the Charles Emerson reference.
C0NUNDRUM: Seriously? So I went to the site, and as always theres an ad to precede the story. This one was SPECIAL. It was the regular casino ad except it was an old couple happy that they won so they could buy a[catalog.sears.ca image 437x437]SNOW BLOWER.Really though... Seriously? Someone might want to look at the ads in rotation.

Kozakman: Ugh. When a lawn mower stops its safe. When a snow blower is stopped it's not.It has a tension bar ( ie spring) that will spin and chop off whatever you stick in it to un jamb it.In the ER we always dreaded first warm days of Spring, for the chainsaw injuries,And the first big snowfall of the winter, snowblower injuries. Not unusual to see multiple patients waiting to see the hand surgeon with the new nick name of "Stumpy".....
joseelsegundo: Don't you see? Your hand may be stilled, but your gift cannot be silenced if you refuse to let it be. The gift does not lie in your hands. I have hands, David. Hands that can make a scalpel sing. More than anything in my life I wanted to play, but I do not have the gift. I can play the notes, but I cannot make the music. You have performed Liszt, Rachmaninoff, Chopin. Even if you never do so again, you've already known a joy that I will never know as long as I live. Because the true gift is in your head and in your heart and in your soul. Now you can shut it off forever, or you can find new ways to share your gift with the world - through the baton, the classroom, or the pen. As to these works, they're for you, because you and the piano will always be as one.
Craptastic: Well, I'm glad he didn't lose enough bits of his fingers to prevent him from still being able to still play. Sticking his hand in there while the motor was still running was certainly a dumb thing to do. He won't be playing any Rachmaninoff with those stubby little fingers. (that stuff is hard to reach with normal-sized digits)
