After reading about "the Canyons" debacle, I think most are right, she'd never be able to handle the schedule of reality game show.

Oh, and I can just see her mother taking her aside after she'd agreed to be on it, and telling her that she was too good for reality TV, and she had to be a movie star, and that they owed her all the furniture and decorations because they came in her house, or something.

I know some people like Lindsay Lohan's parents, and I can't even imagine the horror of having two of them for parents. I know it's been said many times, but--she never had a chance.

I read the NYT article fairly quickly, but I got the impression from it that LL is an extremely difficult person for a director to wrangle, but that when the cameras were rolling, she actually gave good performances:

No joke.  I caught the second half of  boogie Nights  on cable the other night and was reminded of how incredibly sad an sordid the last years of John Holmes' life really was, and then I wondered how far away Lilo is from the same place?  I mean a credible reading of her legal troubles last year could be that she's been running a burglarly ring specializing in ripping off her famous friends for quite some time now

She'll be found dead at the bottom of someone's pool as the party starts to wind down.
