Immigration reform would have been super convenient to me right about now, Mr. President. You know; in case you're reading.

Cruising with the Biden in his Trans AM isn't something you put on an agenda; it's not something you can just schedule and plan for. Rolling with JB just happens.

So, we aren't on the "too professorial" kick this week...it seems we are on the "he didn't explain how to get it done" line.

Ok

I feel like I'm reading a corrected, cleaned up and severely edited version of something Jim Anchower would have written.

Reasonable, though a little more focus on the fourth amendment would be nice. Environment, fiscal cliff, and basketball all seem relatively workable, gun control's gonna depend heavily on what angle they take it from.

Is this Biden stuff gonna be a thing now until he crashes out of the primaries in a couple of years?

Because for a career politician who tried to throttle the internet, the mope sure gets a lot of love around here.

Lets give him the bird! (at least that nonsense crashed and burned)

They are looking at it from all angles, and seeing what they can get traction with.

lolz, "GJTB hating troll." You'd have to use that one on thousands of farkers if you did it honestly (you'd also have to delete the "troll" part)

Say, who ya gonna "Twiitter Bomb a/k/a Spam" today?

I think Biden knew about the GJTB thing and thought he'd see if he could ask for a 'vette - and that's why he said what he said to the Onion.

Really? You were with him in Iraq, then?

Biden's unit was activated to deploy to Iraq on October 3, 2008, and sent to Fort Bliss, Texas, for pre-deployment training, the day after his father participated in the 2008 presidential campaign's only vice presidential debate. His father is on the record as saying, "I don't want him going. But I tell you what, I don't want my grandson or my granddaughters going back in 15 years, and so how we leave makes a big difference."

Biden traveled to Washington, D.C., from Iraq in January 2009 for the presidential inauguration and his father's swearing-in as Vice President, then returned to Iraq. Biden received a visit at Camp Victory from his father on July 4, 2009.Biden returned from Iraq in September 2009, his yearlong deployment complete.Biden had announced that during his deployment he would continue to actively serve as Delaware's Attorney General by working in conjunction with his office's senior staff in Delaware, although a member of his unit related Biden saying he had turned over most of his attorney general work to his deputy so as to focus on his duties in Iraq.

That doesn't mean anything. He was a lawyer in the Iraq HQ. He wasn't issued a rifle. He's a liar.

What, is there some provision in the military regulations that says lawyers, even in theater, aren't to be issued rifles? You're accusing him of lying about his military record, and I assume you have some basis for doing so other than your own assumption of military procedure.

Outside of qualification intervals, Judge Advocate Generals are not issued rifles barring some crazy situation.

He was a lawyer in the army HQ, not a grunt.

I have first hand experience in military procedure (albeit a different branch)

I'm still fuzzy: you know the details of his employment? Or you know the intricacies of Army procedure so well that you can affirmatively state that it is impossible for him to have been issued a rifle?

*Deployment, not employment.
