Guy got what he deserved.

He was going way too fast, and not paying attention to what was going on around him on the road. He was showing off in front of other riders, when the truth is none of them care to see it.

It's guys like this that give all riders a bad name. I would bet money this guy is very inexperienced on motorcycles and likely doesn't even have his motorcycle endorsement on his license. People go out and buy the biggest, fastest bike they can get when they don't have any experience riding. Then they go out, often without a license and/or insurance and do stupid shiat like this. I've seen dozens of accidents like this and they all tell nearly the same story.

Going down a narrow highway like that one is not the place to slam the throttle open and "see what she can do." Especially on a rocket ship like all of the new litre bikes are. How do you not see thousands of pounds of truck and trailer in the middle of the road like that?

Everyone once in a while I think, "I should buy a motorcycle; they look like fun." Then I read one of these threads, and it seems like owning a motorcycle means you've signed up to have some bones shattered, you just don't know when your appointment will arrive. I think I'll pass.

That's my thought... it has to be a third bike coming in fast, because the other bike seen earlier in the video was definitely slowing to a stop.... unless he somehow gunned it and misjudged the clearance going around.

Yup. Look closer at the vid. The bike that's slowing down is either dark red or purple (can't really see very well) and the bike that smashes into the trailer is a bright orange. Absolutely 100% a different bike.
