Tip, and i wish you well, subby- take better shots of what you have. I see that you sell stella. Got it. No need to show glassware when you have kinda hard to read taphandle shots.
Tip 2- at least have a website where you list what is carried / hours.
2 free tips- that should be worth one beer if i am ever  in your neck of the woods.
I will be the one with a custom old school tie dye los angeles kings shirt.

How long is the drive from Orlando to Daytona?  You look to be about right in the middle...
I've got a kid nearly the perfect age for Orlando, and the 3rd/4th week of February in Daytona is on my bucket list.

Tip #3: people can smell fake yelp! reviews and will retaliate. Especially when they're dated before you actually open.

OregonVet: Tip #3: people can smell fake yelp! reviews and will retaliate. Especially when they're dated before you actually open.

And from someone who just joined this month and only has 1 review.
Careful there subby. As much as I hate yelp! they can really put a dent in your business.

subby
We have been open since the first week in January ... but we are still a little rough around the edges. About 6 weeks ago it was just a gutted bldg. We still don't have air con or even ceilings in the bathrooms but we decided to open anyway and see if we could sell some beer (read we needed the money to finish the build out). I have never done anything like this before ... I am actually a system admin and my business partner was working for Allstate. We are neighbors and for about the last 12 years have been dreaming about opening a bar. The yelp reviews are not fake ... well the one from the blonde that lifeform3 mentioned earlier is one of our part time servers. Everyone has said we are crazy for trying to open a bar that only sells Belgian beer in redneck Sanford. We are definitely crazy ...might have something to do with all the delirium tremens etc. we have put back while dreaming of opening a bar. I will try and get Paul (my Belgian neighbor / business partner) to update the facebook page with the beer menu. The problem is we have actually had a lot more business than we were expecting before the grand opening and have been having a hard time keeping the beer in stock.
Thank you everyone that is wishing us luck ... we could use it.

much luck subby and i seriously suggest bringing in some american beer even if its in the belgian styles, there are tons of them. at least in the midwest thats where beer buyers have been trending towards and imports are dipping big. personnally i like belgians but they are so dang heavy i can't drink more than a pint a a sitting.

I know we have a few belgian style beers such as ommegang. I am sure the longer we are open we will figure out what beers do well in this market and which ones do not. One of our original plans was to keep 8 of the taps fairly regular and have the other 8 rotate constantly ... I am not sure if we are going to be able to rotate them that agressively though because of the amount of glasses required. With just the 46 beers we have now we have to have 552 glasses in house. So far the only beers that do not seem to be selling as well are whats left of the special christmas beers. And that really suprised us since they are some of our favorites. Thanks for all the advice eveyone ... keep it comming.

There is a Belgian beer brewery in Jacksonville, do you get beer from them? It's a regional beer, flavored with anheuser berries, which you pick from anheuser bushes. I swear I'm so clever, next I'll be comparing it to clydesdale horse p!ss.

cool! glad you have some american stuff mixed in. It just seems to me that every other high end beer ethusiaist is a hop head and its tough to find any import with 65+ ibu.
Christmas/winter seasonals are funny, people will splurge on stuff theyve never heard of or tried but ive always ended the season with leftovers. Every year we just end up sampling out more and more of them to get them to move.

Good luck! Place looks amazing
