I'm not saying he should, but I wonder if there is some nugget in the CBA banning this type of nonsense.

"These are the most arrogant p***** in the world, starting with Belichick on down," Suggs exclaimed.

At least he had the decency to leave Robert Kraft exempt. Forget the deceased wife angle that some Pats haters think got overplayed (I don't get that one, but, whatever); he's a legitimately nice man and good owner.

In a way, it's flattering. I mean, the Ravens were talking like this when they beat Manning. Because this was the emotional win. Because the Pats are the nemesis.

why would a giants fan hate the patriots? the two teams barely ever play, and the the giants won both of the superbowls, so its not like there would be any bitterness. even if the coverage of the first game before they played was slanted, its far better to take pleasure in how badly they all ended up getting shown up than to rant and rave

It's up to you if you are going to base your happiness on whether or not your team wins. I'm a Ravens fan and disappointed when we lost last year, but it's not like I was going to eat a bullet or something. Plus things like going to the SB or your long suffering baseball team finally making the playoffs make your everyday life just that much better.

Lunchlady: Better to be hated than forgotten.

How you doing Carolina/Jacksonville/Cleveland/Oakland/San Diego/Philadelphia/Arizona/Detroit/Buffalo/Miami fans?

Was hoping for a NE win, thanks for asking.  Can't stand the Ravens.  THEY are the arrogant ones.  NE just plays outstanding football year in, year out.  Well coached team, dedicated players, they never say a word (except for Mr. Sarcasm, Welker, who lets out a few good, straight-faced, one-liners every once in a while).

Speaking of Welker, how'd you like to be Cam Cameron right about now?  Five years you've busted your ass as OC just to get fired the year they go to the SB.  Must suck for him.  What's he got to do with Welker?  Everything.  Cam was the OC in SD when they traded Welker (who Cameron couldn't stand) to Miami for Chris Lemon.  Welker lights things up in Miami, and then Nick "I Can't Tell The Truth" Saban quits, bringing on Cam Cameron as the head coach.  First order of business:  get rid of Wes Welker by trading him to the Patriots for peanuts.  Karma deals Cam a 1-15 season and he's one and done with Miami.

Not a big fan of SF either, but I like Jim Harbaugh.  He's got more spunk than John.  He's going to kick John's ass, just so he can say he did.  John already threw in the towel yesterday after the game anyway, kissing Jim's ass during the interviews.  Should be a good game, if you like blowouts.

Allow me to explain

I was living in the boston area during the 19-OH NOOOOOOO season. Now, boston fans are insufferable assholes to begin with. During the 2 weeks leading up to that super bowl, they went full retard. The fans, the players, the jock sniffers on boston sports radio were already celebrating their wondrous 19-0 season, and were offended that they had to lower themselves to play the giants on their way to the coronation.

They already had the book "19-0" 75% written. They had copywrited the title "19-0".
The amount of disrespect shown the giants was off the charts. I'm not much of a football fan, truth be told, but as a new yorker, I was pretty tired of it by super bowl sunday.

When the giants won, it was beyond satisfying. It was a religious experience. The looks on the faces of all those patriots fans was something I will always treasure. It was as if their world had collapsed.

For 2 weeks before the super bowl, EVERYBODY was wearing some item of patriots clothing.

That monday after, NOT ONE PERSON was wearing any.

That's another thing about boston fans. Phony FRONTRUNNERS, every one of them.

I want to thank you for allowing me to relive the experience by explaining my hatred of the patriots and their fans. I feel even better now than I did last night!
/The second super bowl giants victory over the patriots was just as good, btw.

Yeah, playoffs the four years that he was OC, and of those 2 AFC Championship games.  Horrible.  Should have gotten fired long ago.

Wish we had a horrible OC like that.

Let's say that the AZ in your handle means you're in Arizona (for argument's sake, not that I didn't look at your profile to prove it, but that doesn't make me a stalker, OK?).  And let's say, for argument's sake that living in Arizona you're a Cardinals fan (I live in Alabama and am a Dolphins fan, so obviously where you live means nothing, but just go with it for now).  As a Arizona fan, tell me you wouldn't kill to have Belichick and Brady - in his prime - on your team.  Don't lie.  We all would.  Say what you want about Spygate, and arrogance, and overrated, and all that stuff.  They are consistently good year in , year out.  Can't say that about any other team in the NFL.

I'm a NE fan by association of being a Belichick fan.

I am a Bills fan. We've been their whipping boy since 2000. You had Shula and the 70s. We had the 90s. It sucks that we suck as long as we have. I give grudging respect to them and their success, but I am not a secret fan of the Patriots or a secret fan of Brady or his coach. Would I want Brady as my quarterback? Eh, we already had one of those (Bledsoe).
