That was weird.
I liked it.

still a couple of minor chords in there, but, yes, that was interesting.

FlashHarry: still a couple of minor chords in there,

I thought so...

2013-01-21 02:31:56 PM
I will never look at that song the same way again. Weird.

I really like the first one they did with Metallica's "Nothing Else Matters".

2013-01-21 02:39:04 PM
That really is incredibly strange.

That's even odder than the one in TFA.
Again, don't dislike it.

The message loses something with major keys.  It's too...hopeful.

That was very, very, very strange.  Nice find.

2013-01-21 03:19:20 PM
And here I always thought the pathos of that song was in Michael's voice. It just shows how much emotion is contained in the music.

2013-01-21 03:38:52 PM
That was just a dream...

2013-01-21 03:50:15 PM
Interesting? Yes. But all of those minor to major scale videos sound like bad out of tune cover versions.

This is really, really good actually.  Not better than the original, but I'd listen to it more than once.

That was garbage. Less music, more noise.

2013-01-21 04:02:33 PM
Now do "Too Much Time on My Hands"

Sounds like it could be the intro to a tv dramadrey.

That's pretty cool. I like the contrast between vocals and the music. Though I don't know how I'd react if I'd never heard the real version before.

That's farking weird as fark. I love it.

Not honna click,I like minor scales and chords. Hell do it inreverse and minorfy some sickeningly happy songs.

I made it almost 20 seconds

I can dig it.

2013-01-21 04:44:23 PM
I like the real way much better but kudos on the effort. Very interesting.

2013-01-21 04:44:32 PM
It's sounds almost like the melody is being played on a mandolin.

It was lifted off of the grooves of the ceramic containers holding the dead sea scrolls. Pretty awesome.

A couple months ago they had some dude on NPR who had done a study of the top 100 hits each year for like 70 years and showed there is a statistical overall trend away from major key into minor key for pop music. Also showed correlation in downer lyrics to minor key. Sort of obvious but interesting still. Something ridiculous like 60 years ago almost every top 40 hit was in major key and now it is the exact opposite.

I found it irritating.

I thought this was super cool, found it over the weekend and been playing it on my ipod. It gives the song such a different feel.

foo monkey: That's farking weird as fark. I love it.

The last few days fark has been more like old fark than new fark. Old fark was all these weird stories and links like you see today. Recently fark has been repetitive and boring.

Keep up the good (recent) work moda

Fark: I can't see what he's doing... his left hand thumb appears to be balled up in his right hand and he's pulling the thumb off his left hand. HE'S ACTUALLY PULLING HIS LEFT-HAND THUMB OFF WITH HIS RIGHT LIKE IT'S NO BIG DEAL!!!

FlashHarry: still a couple of minor chords in there, but, yes, that was interesting.

Major keys contain minor chords. ii and vi are commonly used to lead to the V.

It's from the alternate ending to the Doors where Jim gets sober and gets his act together.
