The Man Who Laughs: I wonder if they do weddings.

I don't know. I do know they do Dr. Pepper commercials.

They were on stage for an Umphrey's McGee new years show a few years ago. I say "on stage" because "played" would've been an overstatement. They just walked around stage and made asses of themselves. It was the only shiatty part of that whole show, thankfully (UM was awesome).

I saw Mini-Kiss at a local radio event a few years ago. After the novelty wore off in the first 5 minutes, you were left with some really shiatty music and nothing more.

My initial thought was "Paul Stanley" shouldn't be wearing a shirt onstage.

Then I realized this is probably a good thing.

I recently hired that young lady and a male counterpart to perform as part of a rock concert event I put together. They both did all their own singing and dancing.

That's Terra on top of the golf cart.

I don't like any of the terms "dwarf", "midget", and "little people".  I wonder if "pocket people" would ever catch on?

Afterwards, your new wife can ask if they do divorces.

So...just like the original KISS then?

"Dwarf" and "Little People" are the accepted terminology. Don't call them "midgets" unless you're looking to piss them off.

FYI, the national conference of LPA is in Washington DC this year.

It's always fun to see how "normal" people react when all of a sudden there are thousands of LPs in town. I'm sad to say I won't be going this year.

If you don't have a beard and carry an axe/pickaxe, you're not a Dwarf.

There's a good documentary about that:

Even the dwarf women have beards.

You know, Kiss only has a few songs that I enjoy listening to when they come on the radio but they put on a hell of a show. I've seen them a few times and it was always a great show, the best being the 1996 show at Tiger Stadium in Detroit. Epic farking concert.

The Radio City Music Hall Christmas Spectacular has a midget orgy every year. You might try for that.

When I went to my first Danzig concert, they tried to pass off some midget as Glenn Danzig.

I've always appreciated that Mini KISS didn't go crazy with the platform boots.

You misunderstand. The fun isn't watching the LPs, it's watching the reactions of normal people who aren't expecting 5000 LP's to be everywhere. People who go to the RCMHCSMO are all jaded, anyway.

I remember having a conversation with someone at a concert years ago, they were telling me I really needed to check out Umphrey's McGee.

They were wrong.

The hilarious irony of this post is that you'd normally have a bunch of Phish fanboys slobbering all over you, but they'll never click the link, because it's Kiss.

Gotta admit I'm not a fan of most of their studio stuff. They do put on a good show, though. If you've been, and didn't like, that's cool.

I can understand that. I found two enough for me. (i'm the one in the hat)

I tried very hard to keep PC about every one in my cast but nothing would stop our crew from calling them "the two midgets".

And it's not like they gave me any quarter anyway. When I told the two of them how awful I felt making them drive around in miniature golf carts I expected a "don't worry about it". But that absolution never came.

I did not see Mini-Ace in those photos. Is he dead?

There's a KISS Mini-Golf here in Vegas. I think it would be amazing if they did an addon with MiniKISS Mini-Mini Golf. Just sayin'

You know what's worse than seeing little people lip-sync to KISS songs? Watching the little Ace play a Strat.

Sacrilege.

I had a boss one time who was a serious jackass. He was phobic of clowns and little people, so I used to email him pics of both regularly. MiniKISS freaked him out really bad....

I thought he was going to say he was an Orsen Wells impersonator.
