Its almost as though Belichick is a sore loser who can't man up if the game's not rigged in his favor with cheating.  No, its exactly like that.

We'll deal with him later.  Right now is the sweet sweet taste of Greatriot tears.

Yeah, we really missed out too. Lord knows Belichick is known for giving really long press conferences full to the brim with useful information.

Sharpe was whining about this after the game. Who farking cares? It's always the same 19 questions answered by the same canned ham responses. How many different variations do you need to hear of "We got outplayed. We didn't win."

When it's the patriots?

Every time. Even when they win.

Right, because Jim Harbaugh is such a nice guy himself.

True. As a Texan's fan, last night was great. But honestly, the only thing I like about Belichick's press conferences is the fact that he can barely hide is utter contempt for the media. He reminds me of a high ranking mobster being interrogated in court.

Well, THIS is a Super Bowl no one wanted to see. This is gonna be one of those Super Bowl parties where everyone just drinks and socializes for 4 hours, and nobody knows who won till the post game because no one gives enough of a flying f*ck to watch.

San Francisco might be entertaining to watch until Kaepernick gets murdered running the ball.

Um, it's two legendary franchises battling for the Super Bowl. I think it's so compelling people might forget to drink until the end.

I'm okay with this one. If it had been Atlanta vs. Baltimore I would have gone to the movies.

I sometimes wonder what Vince Lombardi, Paul Brown,George Halas or other old-era coaches would do about being interviewed after a big loss. But that was then and today it's part of the deal and goes with the job. He should be fined not that it would bankrupt him.

I was a lot happier than I would've been with the other two teams playing each other.

/thought for sure Goodell would rig it so the Falcons would win the SB in New Orleans as revenge for the Saints calling him out on his BS

Am I the only one who saw Belichick with his hoodie up and thought he looked more like a homeless guy than an NFL HC?

Fine him and move on.

He's been like this for decades...nothing to see here.

Belichick showed up to the press conference. I don't think the questions were any different, nor do I think his demeanor was any different than if he had answered the same questions on the field. Something, something spygate. Something, something no team has ever cheated. Ever. Get over it.

No in Baltimore they consider it Colts -> Ravens instead of the true Browns -> Ravens.

I mean if it's Colt's -> Ravens then the Patriots are the old Boston Redskins.

As a Ravens' fan even I think this is a total stretch.

On the other hand, Belichik is a d-bag. So he's got that going for him.

As opposed to the Super Bowl everyone wanted to see. Where everyone just drinks and socializes for 4 hours and nobody knows who...

/at least I don't have to watch another farking Cardinals massacre again

My question is, how did the writer of TFA actually figure out what Shannon Sharpe actually said?

As opposed to a Super Bowl with the Patriots in it, where the pink hats won't actually watch until the commercials come on?

You know who else is a pissy biatch? The other 31 coaches. You probably don't get to be a head coach (except maybe The Unflappable Art Shell and Jim "Peyton Manning" Caldwell) unless you're demanding, exacting and loud.

Stand in front of a mic, mumble something about "hell of a football team, hell of a season" and move on. It's not like Goodell demands theater - do literally the least he can do, like he always does at press conferences.

It would have been so much better had he stopped to say "We just didn't play well enough." Followed by 3 "You should talk to ___ about that" and a "He was injured, that's a question for the team doctors. I'm not answering that."

Is anyone legitimately upset they didn't get to hear Belichick mutter and disregard or is it just still really cool to hate on the Pats?

As for defending Belichick here, maybe he was protesting the fact that Shannon Sharpe doesn't wear any dress socks.
