The Only Sane Man In Florida: So, by creating a pretty inconsequential law telling them they have to close at certain hours you're somehow going to prevent already illegal brothels, especially ones that use trafficked women, from operating...

Yeah, please explain to me how that's going to work, because I'm quite interested in hearing about how the traffickers are going to say "Welp, guess I'm out of business then!" and release their sex slaves.

It probably depends when they do most of their business. I imagine a decent share is from drunks leaving strip clubs late at night.

fusillade762: South Florida massage therapists who work late at night said a proposed law to set hours of operation would not infringe on their freedom to work whenever they want.

Somehow, and this is just a wild-ass guess, I don't think licensed massage therapists are the people they're worried about.

I used to be licensed, gave it up. Most of the other massage therapists I knew at the time were sick of the prostitutes posing as massage therapists and wanted them shut down. There should be more state inspections of all locations and licenses should be checked and enforced. This rule will not hurt any honest person.

HotWingAgenda: RatMaster999: namatad: The legislative effort comes amid increasing awareness of potential human trafficking in disreputable massage parlors. Police and federal agents fear that victims are being forced to live on the premises while working long hours and performing sex acts on clients.

and reducing the hours will affect this HOW??? HAHAHAH AHAHAHA
assholes
1) you hurt honest business people
2) you do ZERO to reduce the "crime" you are pretending to be concerned about?

sigh

war on consensual crimes continues to be fought, lost and complete waste of your tax dollars

It's the same logic as taking firearms out of the hands of regular citizens...

Massages don't kill people, massages don't f*cking kill people.

How can they not? I've always heard that strokes were deadly.

Overfiend: Agent Smiths Laugh: skinink: How is allowing massages between 6am and 10pm going to stop human trafficking? Really, the U.S. just needs to legalize and regulate prostitution, then just spend redirect resources to going after actual human traffickers.

That would offend Jesus.

Pretty much NOT. Jesus hung out with prostitutes.

You are dumb.

(your attempt at saying Murica's version of Jesus would fails)

And you are clueless.

Clearly some people don't like me poking fun at their favorite fairytale, and that means I'm dumb. I see. Well, okay. Still, doesn't mean your god actually exists.

But that would make too much sense

How you figure? Where am I going to go to get a "massage" at 3am now? Huh? I consider that "hurting".
