Yes, because the media never gave a break to Mitt Romney...it's not like they were ready to declare him president-elect after the first debate simply because he didn't swallow his tongue

Sadly, he isn't joking. Republicans want everyone to pretend Bush didn't happen so they can avoid any personal responsibility for ruining the economy and starting two wars.

Why do you think they have never had Bush endorse any GOP presidential candidate? McCain? Nope. Romney? Nope.

To be fair, Bush is a busy man, taking in obscene amounts of cash for his speaking engagements and shrugging off his failures in the various interviews he's done since leaving the Big Chair. He looks tired, don't you think?

The reason why Obama and the Democrats won such a decisive victory last November is not because every journalist, including Fox News, the WSJ, the Washington Times, and the National Review were in the tank for them.  It is because GOP policies are despised by young people, the highly educated, Hispanics, African-Americans, and those who live in densely populated areas.  FIGURE IT OUT, LOSERS.

Hmmm, yeah...I thought the name Michael Hastings sounded familiar. He's the Rolling Stone guy who was a big pain in the ass of General McCrystal. He might have something, but he's a serious grandstander too. I wouldn't blindly swallow his prose. But I imagine that it is pretty exciting to sit down for drinks with the world's most powerful guy. I mean, has been in the past. I'm not sure what would have changed since then.

Jimmy Carter didn't lead us into a war on false pretenses that cost 5,000 American Lives, over a hundred thousand casualties on the Iraqi side from direct combat and sectarian violence in the years after the end of major combat operations, and not only cost the US TRILLIONS of dollars, but brought us into a recession. And did so while taking unprecedented crackdowns on civil liberties and individual rights, promoting religious theocracy, creating wasteful Government organizations like the TSA, and appointing political appointees to major government agencies versus experienced people who were considered experts in their field (FEMA Director during Katrina).

Carter wasn't the best president we've had, but credit where it's due.

They just signed off on my being taking off my foam helmet so I'm a bit slow but I need it explained to me how Carter was worse than Presidents who authorized a burglary, openly negotiated and dealt with terrorists, exploded the national debt to the point of crippling future generations, invaded countries under not only false pretenses but ridiculously transparent means to make money for his buddies, watched the biggest terrorist attack on our soil that has or will probably ever happen, completely farked up the handling of a domestic natural disaster, declared that he didn't give a shiat about finding the perpetrator of previously mentioned terror attack and left office one with dementia and the other with a 30% approval rating.

Was Carter really worse than any of that? Do I need my foam helmet back?

My bar for best president is somewhere between Franklin D. Roosevelt and Abraham Lincoln. So he's certainly not worse than those examples you listed, but he's no Lincoln or Roosevelt.

Ive never entirely understood what made Carter so horrible, myself. Yes, there was a recession and stagflation at the end of his term, but lots of Presidents preside over poor economic conditions. The Iran Hostage Crisis wasn't good, but I'm not really sure what he could have done about that.

Yes it was a decisive victory. Nearly every swing state went to Obama. The Democrats picked up seats in the Senate when they should have lost seats and also received more votes in the House than the Republicans while picking up some seats. Thanks to creative House districts, the GOP didn't lose more seats than they did

We were given a rare opportunity to hear the real philosophy of this administration with regard to the war in Iraq. A powerful rendition by the president of why we're there. When he talked about the fact that we can support emerging democracies in the Middle East, and that's the only way we can prevent future 9/11′s, you're getting to the heart of why this administration is fighting that war in Iraq.
"This president is ready to fight like a rock through the rest of his term," Matthews proclaimed. "He made it clear that he's going to fight as long as it takes to develop a democracy in Iraq. There's not going to be any change come September."

WAIT WAIT WAIT
Are you saying that there were some kind of "polls" which looked at who voted for each candidate and we could use that information to see who voted for each candidate?

Hmmmmmmmm
But, we know all those polls have a liberal bias and that Rmoney was leading in reality, all the way up to the actual election, when he lost. If the polls had not had those liberal biases, real americans would have risen up in record numbers and Obama would have been a one term president.

HAHAHA HAHAHAHAHAHAHA
sorry
I am pretty certain that there is no way in the universe that the GOP is even close to ready to deal with reality. That the population has moved away from their positions.
