Toshiro Mifune's Letter Opener: #1. New Jersey Is the World's Tastemaker

*wipes a tear away from his eye*

No, seriously, what's the real #1 entry?

No one said it's a good taste.

It may be one of those fowl tastes, those that linger in your mouth for hours even after washing your teeth a half dozen times, and when you remember them you gag, and you fight to avoid throwing up in your mouth.

ComaToast: Israel controls what I eat? I wouldn't have thought they were so pro-bacon.

It does, considering that Israel causes the US to eat an awful lot of crow.

spcMike: TV's Vinnie: Texas may decide what's in the textbooks, but the rest of the states don't go for that. In fact, I think I've heard of a few states that have passed laws that forbid "Texas approved textbooks" from being used in their state schools.

I say this as a born and raised Texan, good on them. Our state board of education is full of idiots.

Are there still fights going on down there about the Founding Fathers and including creationism in the texts? I forget all the other things that they wanted included....but it sounds like it is full of idiots.

das: I lived in Columbus from 84-89. I had McRibs AND Shamrock Shakes before you.

Shamrock Shakes were introduced in 1970. I can remember enjoying them as a kid in the 70s. Thank you for the McRib, though, I love those.

One of my High School friends' Dad worked at International Flavors and Fragrences in Hazlet. Or maybe New Brunswick. I don't know. It's not really very interesting. You are probably bored by reading this post. I am kind of bored by typing it.
