markie_farkie: Meh... Looks like a decent Lake Effect Snow day in upstate NY, or Erie PA..
kmmontandon: You'd think Russians of all people would have a higher standard for what qualifies as a lot of snow.Because that ... isn't.
fusillade762: kmmontandon: You'd think Russians of all people would have a higher standard for what qualifies as a lot of snow.Because that ... isn't.Yeah, I was kinda underwhelmed.[tell us more about how often you have to un-bury your car.condescendingwonka.jpg]
KungFuJunkie: The majority of those pics are showing so much more snow than 10" of snow. We had a blizzard that dumped 10-18" around Madison WI and most businesses were closed for a day. The next day everything was back to normal.

Well, up here in the warm sands of Canada, we look at ten feet of snow as a good excuse to stay home and drink vodak... Takes all kinds, I suppose!Do you know where Chester is? It's up in the north, far from the coast and at about 4500 feet. Annually they're around 10 1/2 feet of snow. That sounds pretty cold to me down here in socal.(I'm not sure if anyone has mentioned this too you but California is a big place)
way south: Only idiots think Global warming means the planet is always getting hotter. Sometimes its causing the planet to get colder, or disasters to happen, because it means the weather is changing. Its changing because people won't give up their SUVs.Besides, this is Russia....[dl.dropbox.com image 768x768]
starsrift: White_Scarf_Syndrome: That looks like a lot more than 10 inches. I'm wondering if they already had a foot or two already down, which is nothing. Seen that in NJ and Montreal. This is the thread where we get the "that's not snow, THIS is snow!" guys, right?Or wait, did I read that wrong, and it was ten FEET?10 inches in Moscow, which is a couple of the pics... 10 feet in "the polar city of Norilsk", which is most of the pics. You can tell which ones are of Moscow because they have things other than snow in them.
