The music sound like "Victoria" to me. Don't remember who did the song, but it was a mid to late '80's indie hit. Kind of a Clash sort of sound, but pretty sure it wasn't them.

Pierski, that is an awesome home page. I don't know why they didn't want to use it, but their loss, I guess.

InfernalCatfish I appreciate the compliment.

From pierski: "I created a Homestarrunner splash page, the Brothers Chap said that is was cool but at the same time said it didn't fit with the look of the website."

I thought it ruled. The rabbit grabbing the cursor almost made me throw up I was laughing so hard...

Richard_The_Clown thank you as well.

HOW does that not fit the look the look of the website? The only thing I can think of is with "too many Monty Python references." Other than that, I think the Chaps are jealous. lol

Probably has something to do with copyrights and all.
And the music on the new page sounds to me like the intro to The Price Is Right.

Pierski- Awesome work! I don't get "Charecters" though, little help?

Your page link is broken now, pierski

Ah, nevermind, it works again. Cool, though I see how it doesn't fit the mood.

Since it is their website they understand better than anyone else the feel they are looking for. scansinboy as far as the jokes here you go. Cheap is referencing the vikings in the Spam skit. God is in the cloud from Holy Grail. Trogdor is Trogdor. Pom Pom is reference to the Terry Gillian animations from the series, alot of things came out of holes. The bunny is from the Holy Grail and the famous Monty Python foot from the opening sequence. I appreciate everyones' comments.

"Cheap is referencing the vikings in the Spam skit"

I think you mean "The Cheat" not "Cheap". And I'm so glad The Cheat is not dead...

Ahhh- things coming out of holes. Got it.
I was worried it might be from some famous MP sketch or movie that I am too lazy to remember at the moment.

BigNick - as a recovering AMC addict, I can state with authority that the HSR Gremlin is a '71-'73. A '74 (through '76) has a slightly different C-pillar and grille, and bigger federal bumpers. '77-'78 has completely different front and rear sheetmetal.

At any rate, it's damn cool that a Gremlin keeps popping up. Only thing cooler would be a Pacer.

It's that Gremlin again!

Doo-dee-doo-dee-doo...

(referencing the halloween shorts, for the uninformed...)
