I just burned the fark out of my thumb on some flaming liquor deink

So I picked up a jar of Pace on sale and I have to say, it's probably the best mass-market salsa I've had. Very flavorful, good heat and not watered down. Maybe it actually IS better than that stuff made in New York City.

the biggest redneck here: violentsalvation: WTFdoesitmatter: So, does this mean Weidman rightfully gets his title shot now?

I'd hope so.

me too, but Silva is a whiny biatch who wants none ofthat. He'll lobby for GSP/Belfort/Evans.

With the end of strikeforce we now have Tim Kenny, Luke Rockhold and Jacare in the division.  So Anderson has some pretty good options out there.

7 of 11, 2 perfects...not too bad.

maybe Mirgliotta was compensating

Dana tweeted after the earlier fight that he's done.

Is he the head of the Athletic Commission? If not then he should STFU. He doesn't get to decide who refs.

He usually is in Brazil. Not sure about this card, though. The former commissioner of the NSAC now works for the UFC and said they were working with Brazil to help them create their own athletic commission.

I was going to say the same thing. White can't control who refs the fights.

I think the UFC brings their own refs to Brazil and some other countries with lax or nonexistent athletic commissions though.

He can in Brazil. UFC is their own commission in lots of places overseas.

Yes and no. When the UFC is in Brazil, there is no athletic commission. In the states they have no say, but in Brazil (and a few other places) the UFC acts as its own commission.

We're talking actual opponents for Anderson Silva, not the prelims of his next card.

It's definitely a good go-to salsa when you can't get your regional favorite or make your own fresh. There is one I prefer that comes out of Albuquerque called Sadie's

Rockhold and Jacare are on the same level as Weidman.  I like Weidman, but he isn't god or anything.

Uhh, no. Weidman has consecutive wins over Maia (on crazy short notice) and Munoz (whom he absolutely clowned). The biggest names on the resumes of the other 2 are each other, and that fight wasn't much. They'll get exposed just like what's-his-face (the guy Boesch beat up), and their name recognition is almost zero. Andy will lobby for it, but that's a REALLY tough sell on PPV. The only way it happens is if Zuffa decides that Weidman is an impossible matchup for Silva, but I think they're brazen enough to throw him in there with Andy.

Ah, I didn't know that. Must be a new thing (or possibly a regional thing).

I did horribly...so horrible I'm not posting my tapology results.  Damn near got shut out.

I'm somewhat surprised that Bisping lost the way he did.

Got back home a while ago, ate some more barbecue, and now watching the Fuel post-fight show. Caught that Dolloway-Sarafian was fight of the night, Belfort was KO of the night, and Ildemar Alacantra was sub of the night.

Last time I saw Bisping, he was taking a quick nap after Hendo turned out the lights with one right hand. Last night does not appear to have been much different. He's a chump with a big mouth.

I hated missing this card, but I love being proven right(once again) that Bisping is an over rated hack.

I prefer to think of him as the best gatekeeper in the division. He really only loses to top guys, and can clear out the bums.
