(That is, assuming they didn't do anything illegal other than crossing) Slap them on the hand and turn them free? Prosecute them? Take their picture and put it on the wall like Disneyland? Either way, it seems a pointless lose/lose scenario, right?I'm not sure about Canada, but for Cuba I thought the deal was they get to apply for asylum if they make it to US land.
