cig-mkr: But that's a lot of folks retirement plan. Commit a FEDERAL crime and get sent to a Federal Campus and you get a dorm room, three free meals a day, medical, dental, eyeglasses, heat in the winter and AC in the summer. All while attending classes. Federal white collar crime that is.

Just be sure your white collar crime doesn't involving banking, insurance, or the stock market because then instead of going to Club Fed, you'll be given an apology and a bit larger annual bonus than usual.

Why work when you can just get things handed to you.......he must be a liberal.

These are the talking points RWNJs parrot when they don't have the critical thinking skills necessary to form a coherent argument.. If I had a nickel for every time 'X must be an Obama voter' or 'liberals don't work and want free stuff' in comment sections, I'd be a... nickelaire.

dickfreckle: Crazy or not, this illustrates the beacon of hope known as American health care. Maybe this guy is a nutcase, but he's not alone. Plenty of rational people are driven to the the edge in attempts to receive even a modicum of care in this exceptional USA. You can rob a bank, be convicted, and still have better care than most working folks.

[I put on my robe and GOP shill hat]

And this just goes to prove that liberals are giving people more incentive to commit crimes and live out their days sucking that sweet gubmint teat. This is an obvious sign that we need to stop wasting our precious tax dollars on medical care for these thugs. The answer is right in front of us; no more healthcare in prisons. That'll give people more incentive to stay out of prisons, and encourage those on the inside to better themselves and make sure they never end up back in there. USA! USA! USA!

Stimpy's Lost Fart:

Seems pretty simple to me, stop giving all but emergency medical care to individuals in prison.

Great idea. If the AIDS don't get 'em then the TB will.

Why not just make every infraction more serious than letting the parking meter run out punishable by death?

"Mr. Lostfart, this is the SECOND time you 'forgot' to go back and feed the meter. The first was in 1987. You can't say you didn't know. Better luck in your next incarnation."

buttcat: So this guy gets thrown in jail for threatening to kill the president, yet Kansas Dumbass Mike O'Neal calls for Obama's death via "prayer", and nothing happens to him.

You new around here? We all know prayer doesn't work ya big silly. Besides, their are more Muslims praying for Obama so that cancels out Christian death prayers or something

computerguyUT: Well, yay for our system, he will get his quality medical care on our dime.

It's a really sad thing when going to prison is actually better than trying to survive as a "normal" person in America.

If only there was some way an industrialized nation could provide better healthcare for its citizens than employer-sponsored private insurance... hmmm... i wonder if there's literally any other, better option out there in the world. Well, i'm stumped, conservatives tell me our private healthcare system is the best in the world! I personally don't have insurance, but I'm told it's the best so it must be working out for me somehow
