Spurs couldn't beat QPR last week. If you think they're beating ManU, you're drinking better stuff than I have.

FFPL report to follow for the 1500 Zulu games. And a proper tale of woe it is.

Still have no clue why Adkins got the sack. Southampton have been looking good in the past few weeks.

Liverpool might be in for either Wesley Sneijder or Phillipe Coutinho. If Ayre pulls off either one of those, he's a farking master negotiator. I'd love to see Coutinho, I'd be okay with seeing Sneijder, don't think either of them are coming (Countinho has to be a massive transfer fee, and Sneijder wages are through the roof).

My slide from mediocrity to despair continues. Just hanging onto the front page by a bit

It's a pity nobody at Liverpool thought it was "unacceptable" when Suarez admitted using the word negro.

Word is that Sneijder wants €100,000 per week after tax. That would put him on around €200,000 a week before tax. After the Fair Play rules i don't think anyone could afford that with there current squads. Witha bit of selling City might be able to pay him.

FFS, 'pool just got rid of Joe Cole. By all means, sign another immensly overvalued, past his prime player on enormous wages instead of players that more accurately reflect the current reality of mid table mediocrity. Sneijder would be an enormous mistake.

Agreed, but if there's one club out there that would make that horrendous error in judgement, sadly enough it's Liverpool at the moment. Coutinho is the far and away better choice, provided his fee isn't through the roof, but he's also really young, and Ayre's got his "need to bring in experience" orders from BR, so I don't know if it goes down.

Hey, if there are any NYC folks here, I'm in Manhattan today and tomorrow if anybody would like to grab a beer.

Jones, Wisdom, Carragher, Agger, Johnson, Lucas, Gerrard, Henderson, Downing, Suarez, Sturridge.
Subs: Gulacsi, Allen, Borini, Shelvey, Sterling, Robinson, Skrtel

So, Pepe's injured again. That's lovely. The real question mark is why is Carra starting instead of Skrtel and why can't Coates get a spot on the bench? If you're worried Skrtel's got a knock, rest him for a week and bring in the young gun.

And look at that SAF quote demeaning foreigners coming into the game and equating that to diving.

It is your Round 22 FFPL report

. This week is rated as PG on the basis of mild comedic violence and implied nudity, so a permission slip from your mother is necessary to read further.

I went down ten points this week, but I increased my lead by 40pts over Obamartins.

Top scores of the week were kcostell with +55, but it was a good week for the arid with DesertMoloch up 65 and DesertGeek up 70. They were also the highest climbers of the week, moving up three and five respectively.

Competition to be at the bottom was extremely fierce. Scores of -60 frankly don't cut it. The_Known_Universe and NathanJr reaped stinging -70s, but Norfolkingchance probably doesn't want to discuss his -80.

No change in page 1/2 membership. This is a numbers game. 30/30 down 4, 689908 drops 6, putting him into an adjoining cell to ADubs86. Shivs-a-go-go.

Banker Bonus Club down to one member. Kcostell, still clinging onto his +20 bonus like a sailor to a buoy.

I did flirt with going to see NUFC vs Reading today, but weather is making me wimp out.

How is MCFC losing out on signing PG? They won bought the title last year, they're second in the league right now 7pts behind MU. Mancini doesn't need to go.

Furthermore, Southhampton's owners are not just fools...they're arseholes.

I was hoping those were rumors only, I think he could learn a lot from Agger and Carra. Oh well, he's still a good talent, and with Carra's impending retirement, he'll be back in the side next season.

maybe. his defense has been shaky at times. if there's any area we need improved, it's the back end. the way we're leaking goals this season is positively manu-ish.

Solid work from Norwich so far. Keeping is tight without the ball and then when they can break hard and show up Carra's lack of pace.

If reports are to be believed, £50m is set aside for Cavani. I'll believe it when the check clears.

I guess Pardew's FIFA 12 skills aren't up to par.
But no disrespect to your club, that is the Transfer steal of the century. How on Earth did you all lose out to QPR? Harry Houdini truly is a wheeler-dealer.

I have credible personal sources that say QPR offered double the wages. Whether or not he is/was worth it we won't really know for 3-6 years.

I actually support not getting into a bidding war wrt wages - we've been down that route before and it didn't go well.

WHAT IS THIS MADNESS? HENDO SCORING?!?!?!

Pretty sure my drink isn't laced.
