So you're saying they're a little fat for a storm trooper?

I'm saying they are the fat Elvis version of Carrie Fischer.

I have a Churches chicken nearby that looks like it dates from the 70's. But you can get three piece mixed and a biscuit for under $5 and they have fried okra. They don't do a hundred things, they do two. Fried food and biscuits.

I stopped at a Churches when I was in Texas. It was probably the worst fried chicked I've ever had. It was stringy and dry. I won't be eating at another one again.

I was never a big fan of KFC, even as a kid. I didn't (and don't) hate them, but they were never my first choice for fast food chicken. Always like Popeye's more.

/Does that make me a hipster?

I like KFC as much as the next guy, but I've never been able to eat more than about one breast of extra crispy before my stomach goes on protest. Too much grease.

I haven't had fried chicken in a long time -- maybe 20 years or more. And now I'm kinda hungry.

Anyone able to recommend a good place for fried chicken in the Minnesota Twin Cities?
