9 for 13 (missed 5, 7, 9, 13).

I still remember Say Cheese and Die to this day. That one and the Dummy one freaked me out the most.

Missed me by about five years, my younger sister loved them.  (Her favrit berks too) By the time they came out I'd moved on to Terry Brooks, Stepehen R Donaldson and Michael Moorcock,.

I never actually read them. I was just invoking the meme.

They sold that book set at an ELEMENTARY school book fair. I bought it because I really liked the Goosebumps series. I read about 2.5 stories, checked out some of the pictures, promptly had nightmares the entire night, and gave the book to one of my dad's friends the next day just to get it out of the house. The drawings alone were absolutely terrifying.

I read a bunch of those books but later on I realized it was only around thirty of the 100+ books out there.

I never read Goosebumps books, although my kids loved them. But I do love Stephen Gammel's illustrations. He is awesome!

8/13 - Not bad, for not ever having most of them.

Scary stories was by far some of the most freakish stuff I read when I was younger. Then I got onto war novels...

Still not off war novels.

Dunno if I should be happy, or ashamed, but I got 11 out of 13 (and should have got 12 but I didn't think long enough about the camp Jellyjam one).

It's been, hmmm, possibly 16 years since I read the last Goosebumps book. But my advantage is that I read upwards of 50 of them and even the ones I didn't read I had seen the titles whilst regularly picking my next one out of the bookstore. I was able to spot the real title from the fakes pretty quick because of that.

I'd estimate I was between the ages of 12 and 15 when I read them and I loved them. I used to love the days when I'd saved enough allowance for the next book. I'm pretty sure I still have them somewhere.

I am 52 years old. How well do you think I know Goosebumps books?

Is Fark so peopled by teenagers that this is a draw for the site?

/Thinking maybe I ought to hang out someplace with people my own age because I am feeling just a bit creeped out atm.

How well do you know your Goosebumps books?

They were written by someone named Irma Gurd, right??

Teenagers? Maybe I'm wrong but Goosebump books went out of fashion a long while ago. Over 10 years ago. I'm 29. I'd imagine that most Goosebump fans are around my age.

Yeah, I'm still a youngin' to you I guess but I ain't no teenager.

13/13, though I definitely guessed on some of those last ones. Guess I outgrew them before RL Stein stopped pumping them out once a month.

/"One Day at Horrorland" ftw

those books have neat drawings but the stories are only scary if you are like 6.

Wow, i got 11 of 13.  I read that whole series too, back when i was younger.  The covers were terrifying, but the stories were, to my like 8 year old mind, really good.  They did for me what the Harry Potter books did for autistic retards: they got me to read.

That was purty easy. Then again I still have all of mine lol. Will probably give them to my kids someday if I have any. Dunno if they'll last though... the pages are already yellowing (why does that happen D: ).
