The Bestest: Jerseysteve22: I was kinda hoping for a Blue/Red/Yellow/Grey opening title sequence, but oh well.

The lack of a special intro for this ep was my biggest disappointment.

My favorite is still the 80s opening. It was perfectly done.

I knew Walter had mailed the white tulip to Peter from the instant it was revealed that Walter was going with Michael into the future but I still got all misty at the end.

robsul82: Jerseysteve22: robsul82: I guess they could get away with it under the Officially Season 4 Onwards Counts idea, that Peter doesn't glow because he's not "from" Red Universe anymore - he's not "from" anywhere anymore - but I severely dug that little detail.  Made me squee, sue me.

No shiat.  A Goddamned cow made me watch the rest of the scene in blurvision.  This friggin' show, I tell you, lol...

So Walter was farking with Astrid for 5 seasons. U mad, Astro?

Dinjiin: Spiralmonkey: Terra Nova

I know a lot of people who said that Terra Nova was so bad that it was good. Meh. About the only thing it was good for was as a drinking game. If you took a swig every time there was a retarded hole in the writing, you were guaranteed to be on the floor by the 3rd commercial break.

It had dinosaurs and explosions. Dinosaurs and explosions! What else do you want at the end of a long working day but some takeaway and a few dinosaurs?

Jocundry: NeoCortex42: Time paradoxes? Eh, Fark it. Just go with the happy ending.

Great finale, aside from the last five minutes or so.

I didn't think they would end by destroying everything that had ever happened on the show. I guess you could argue that Walternate still missed the cure and Walter still went over to get Peter but this time the ice didn't break or some passerby pulled them out of the lake. Oh and Walter was still willing to let Peter go in the machine.

All the same, I'm ok with the ending. Flawed as all hell as it was.

The paradox isn't Peter getting pulled out of the ice. If there were no Observers, Walternate wouldn't have been distracted when he found the cure. Peter would have been cured by Walternate and Walter would have never kidnapped him in the first place.

I'm not going to let it ruin the ending for me, but I really wish Peter or Walter would have pointed it out and at least hand waved some technobabble to dismiss it.

Alright that was great. It got dusty in here when Walter saw Gene for the last time and told Astro she had a pretty name. Loved the white tulip at the end.. Felt like it needed another 15 minutes, but still, a great end to a great show.

Spiralmonkey: I'd have liked to have seen William Bell at some point, even though he's dead. I just liked him.

Seriously. The guy could have at least lent them a hand with the final plans.

Fringe, the only show to survive the Friday Night Death Slot. I will miss this show..

Without DVRs I would have never stuck with it. I'm glad I did. The characterization and the all around great story and writing really paid off. Sure it had its missteps along the way, but it was always entertaining from week to week and never failed to keep me hooked. The relationship between Walter, Peter and Olivia was one of the best on TV.

Here's to a great show, may it have a long life in syndication!

doglover: I'm still waiting of a live action Cowboy Bebop. Firefly showed that it's possible and people want it.

Pull the trigger, Hollywood.

Sure ya can, Champ. No Fark discussion is complete until a designated hater/troll/snob threadshiats on everything in sight.

/That way we can all see just how sophisticated you are.

Diogenes: I lost track of that show when their scheduling got all wonky and I didn't have a DVR yet.  Too bad.  I really liked the first two seasons.

They're showing it on the Science channel, and it's available on Amazon Prime video.

I'm glad that, for once, Fox stuck with a show that had what might be a small but was still a guaranteed audience.
