Oysterman: NeoCortex42: Something I don't get: The Observers have already shown an ability to go between universes (like observing Walternate working on a cure for Peter). Why not occupy the other side as well?

I still haven't fully grasped why Walter went through so much trouble recording and hiding an elaborate plan on a video medium that's already dated, only to perform the plan himself once the Observers obtained full control.

Don't worry it's all going according to the vagenda.

doglover: I'm still waiting of a live action Cowboy Bebop. Firefly showed that it's possible and people want it.

Pull the trigger, Hollywood.

Of all the tech on Fringe, the only one I have a problem with is getting a conversation out of a window.

I dunno.. I can sorta get where they're coming from.. that glass is somehow able to retain a 'sonic memory' of sorts. The concept is not that far out there either.

Fringe, the only show to survive the Friday Night Death Slot. I will miss this show..

Without DVRs I would have never stuck with it. I'm glad I did. The characterization and the all around great story and writing really paid off. Sure it had its missteps along the way, but it was always entertaining from week to week and never failed to keep me hooked. The relationship between Walter, Peter and Olivia was one of the best on TV.

Here's to a great show, may it have a long life in syndication!

I look forward to whatever work John Noble does in the future. He's already awesome as a host on Dark Matters.

Call me a sap, but I'm hoping for Peter to call Walter "Dad" again.

This is largely the reason it even got a 5th season. 100 episodes is sort of a magic number for syndication, and so Warner pretty much agreed to give the 5th season to Fox for free if they renewed it for a 5th and final season.

I get the feeling Walter will be going with the boy to the future. So we'll get a goodbye scene between Walter and Peter.

I'm glad it's getting a better conclusion than the X Files did. God did that payoff suck.

Yeah I read that too. For whatever reason, I'm glad we get a conclusion to the show.

There was no pay-off for the X-Files, just a kick in the balls.

two seconds after walter and the boy go.. he pops back from the future saying he fixed the paradox and was able to come back and hang out with them!

2013-01-18 09:27:09 PM
Was there ever any doubt that Walter would nobly sacrifice himself?

I hope Asteroid packs Walter a knapsack full of snacks, drugs & vanilla fudge 8 tracks for his trip.

Wait...if they stop the Observer race from evolving, then the Observers never go back in time, September never prevents Walternate from missing the cure, Walter never crosses over to get Peter.

They're either the snake things from Chinatown or the bug things that they guy was using to cure a disease.

And everybody lives, but no Etta. I really hope one of the characters realize this at some point.

Blue-Earth Peter does as a child, Red-Earth Peter never comes "here", never marries Olivia, Eta is never born.

I've come to realize, Mr Broyles....
