For sure, fantastic voice. Pretty impressive that even after 30 years of kicking it with cocaine and booze that he could still sing that way.

VH1 Classic shows a Temptations bio-movie every other day it seems.  If it is to be believed David Ruffin was a giant ego maniac and an extreme drug addict.  What a Ruffian.

/I still like Papa Was a Rolling Stone though.

Dennis Edwards sang lead on that one.

Ruffin's family have stated that Otis Williams' version of events were sensationalized significantly, which doesn't surprise when one considers the entertainment industry.

Probably somewhere in between the two sides' versions. Ruffin had issues and that cannot be denied.

But man, that last scene from the mini-series where they sing My Girl fully decked out is brilliant.

Nice clip, but I don't believe it qualifies as "The Temptations" proper. David and Eddie are the only two actual Temps that appear to be in that footage.

David, Eddie and Dennis toured together quite a bit after the aborted Temps reunion in the early 1980's and I would bet this is from one of those shows, although I don't see Dennis in it.
