Heave em up and toss em over(3x) ear lye in the morning!

Pick em up and wool them silly...

Happy Caturday everyone.  I haz a worried...

My goggie, Olivia, is in some kind of pain.  It started today, early afternoon.  She is having a hard time finding a comfortable sitting position, can't get up from a sitting position or laying down position without yelping.  Mr. Pie took her to her vet, they took xrays, he poked, prodded, etc. Found nothing that would indicate she ate a toy, wood chips or anything like that.   They gave her two different pain meds and to call him Monday.

It's breaking my heart hearing her cry.  The only thing we can think of is that she might of pulled a muscle running around the backyard.  :o(

/off to catch up on the thread.

Biscuit is recuperating nicely. I'll have pics tomorrow. His pupils have been so blown from the pain meds I haven't had the heart to use the flash.
He just had his dinner and meds. It's nap time now.

Yippee!!!  *does happee dance*  Very good news indeed!!!

OlderGuy: Greetings from Virginia, where we have SNOW !  1.5 inches so far.. local (and accurate) forecaster says 3-6" tonight... supposed to end early tomorrow morning... both cars covered already.. Feral Fred is in the utility room in his heated bed.. according to the footprints, he came out, looked around, and went back inside... the inside crew are occupying all the windows.. lots of vocalizations.. probably translate to many WTF,s.. I will bring them a bowl of the snow tomorrow am... should be interesting.. had a white cat named Snowball (RIP)...  liked to play cat-dozer in the stuff... would put his head down and run... looovved the snow, but loved the sun more....[i.imgur.com image 850x637]

Ohhhhhhh, you get all the fun!  Every time snow is forcast here in STL, we all roll our eyes and in unison say "Yeah right!!"  It always seems to either dissapate right before it gets here, or go north.  Boo hiss!

Have fun!!

/Snowball was very handsome!

yobbery: Biscuit went under his blanket a while ago. He doesn't do that much, but he's also doesn't spend much time on drugs either.
We thought he went under there to pass out, but the wife just peeked in on him and the little shiat went under there to wiggle out of his cone.

That sucks! I hope Olivia feels better soon.
I know they get aches and sprains just like we do, but it's very worrisome that they can't tell you what hurts. All you can do is stay in tune and trust your intuition.

Apparently, baby Lindsay was disappointed that she didn't get the ThePuceGuardian treatment last week, and took it upon herself to make her own laser-cat pic.

Here's the result. Lindsay by the light of her laser pointer.

Hoover has hurt himself a few times....he strained a toe when we were 'running' in a field (trip to vet).  He strained an ACL when he jumped off the couch (emergency vet and regular vet....he screamed in pain).  And the worst was he hurt his back and was on lockdown for almost 2 months (multiple trips to the vet, he cried in pain....i got crap from coworker because I left to take my dog to the vet, my dog who was screaming).

Do the pain drugs, keep her quiet,  And hope she feels better soon.

Fanx everyone.  The heating pad idea is a good one.  I hadn't thought of it.   I just wish I knew exactly what areas hurt her.  I hate to, but I could press gently on some areas on the back areas of her body.

She's resting in her doggie bed now.  I went in there to check on her and when she saw me, she wagged her tail and moved and was in so much pain she yelped.  Poor baby.  She's not leaving my sight.

Sounds like bring on the pain meds..i think if you wrap the heating pad in a towl or teo it should be ok...I have a bag filled with feed grade corn that I nuke and use for me, but know it works for animules as well. You can use beans too...or rice.
