The only thing I know about Studio 54 are the stories a couple of old queens used to tell me from their glory days of how they routinely did coke and had sex in the bathrooms of that club.

Obviously, the people who buy this stuff like their memorabilia like they like the barely legal pool boy... full of coke and splattered with jizz.

Well, unless it was a Weekend at Bernies type deal, probably not:

How long until we get a Jurassic Park style story about someone cloning a bunch of 70's disco freaks from left over DNA in this stuff?

Michael Jackson couldn't have been more than 18 or 19 at that time. I guess the legal drinking age was lower back then.

That's like their Woodstock. Every baby boomer you ever run into will tell you they were at Woodstock, man, saw Hendrix light it up!

So I guess every old gay dude has to say they raged at S54 with Andy Warhol and Ed Koch back in the day.

I have never understood why anyone would want to hang out at any nightclub.

It's loud ass and crowded, and the drinks are ridiculously expensive.

What's the upside?

Considering that Steve Rubbell and a good number of other denizens died of AIDS people probably shouldn't buy anything that wouldn't survive steam sterilization unless you have access to a gamma ray sterilizer and even then you'd have to still contend with the thick layer of santorum slathered on everything.

I have dibs on any powdered sugar they might find but only if it's in plastic bags, no cartons.

I used to work at a lot of clubs and the only thing that would stop me from going in them would be the $30-$60 cover charge (sometimes higher) since I worked there I got in for free. But I also got discounts on drinks hook up with girls that thought I was famous and paint latex on boobies.

As a child of the 80's I don't have anything like that to brag about. Saw a couple Maiden shows. Van Halen. Ozzfest in the 90s. Oh, and Woodstock '94 (really).

Nothing that would resonate with anyone, anywhere. Nothing that I could say with pride "I was there, man.".
