I AM KIDDING. PLEASE DO NOT VERIFY THE EXISTENCE OF TIN CUP, NO MATTER HOW MUCH EVIDENCE YOU MAY HAVE
Infernalist: 1) Good on him. He's putting his money where his mouth is.2) Good on her. Forgiveness is paramount and she clearly still loves the man.I wish them both the best.
Toshiro Mifune's Letter Opener: BULLSHIAT.Nobody ever watched Tin Cup.To this day, scientists debate whether or not the film actually exists.I AM KIDDING. PLEASE DO NOT VERIFY THE EXISTENCE OF TIN CUP, NO MATTER HOW MUCH EVIDENCE YOU MAY HAVE
Occam's Disposable Razor: Infernalist: 1) Good on him. He's putting his money where his mouth is.2) Good on her. Forgiveness is paramount and she clearly still loves the man.I wish them both the best.I wish I could see the world with this kind of optimism. What a beautiful existence!1) What a moran, he's going to lose half his money because after the get-back-together rush wears off it's just the same shiat that you used to hate (in my experience this takes maybe 3 months)2) Forgiveness? Love? She's naming her price and will probably be happier with the money than with him.Not arguing with you, just stating my admittedly cynical opinion.
Klippoklondike: I actually liked that movie...
95629: So all she has to do is get him drunk or drugged up, hire some prostitute for a couple grand to seduce him and get him to sleep with her when he doesn't even know whats going on, take a couple pictures.... and she earns $200M?How could this NOT be whats going to happen?
Infernalist: I'm perpetually disappointed by life, I suppose. But, it's better than the alternative. I can't imagine going through life being that jaded
buntz: I do remember that guy. You know who I don't remember? The guy who WON.
NewWorldDan: Tiger could get a Perkins waitress for a few thousand and a new Buick. Not as hot, but probably a better lay. Personally, I say go for the chick who farks like she's got something to prove.
divgradcurl: "you know Romeo, that idea has merit..."/love that movie//"you would bury yourself alive just to prove you could handle a shovel"///had great music too- that song was also used in 'fools rush in'
bmwericus: Kudos subby, nice headline.Yea, OK, Tin Cup was a terrible movie. And, I happened to enjoy it. I thought it played well. Don Johnson was wonderful as Mr. Smarmy, and Cheech Marin IMHO carried the rest of the load. The music and the set pieces made it workable.
KrispyKritter: divgradcurl: "you know Romeo, that idea has merit..."/love that movie//"you would bury yourself alive just to prove you could handle a shovel"///had great music too- that song was also used in 'fools rush in'holy crap, if you thought that was worth watching check out 'dead solid perfect'. best golf film ever.
Too Pretty For Prison: She has something no other woman can give him. His kids. That's worth $300M
texmeth: For the golf fan:The scene at the end of the movie where Roy McAvoy hits the shot into the water hazard again and again was based on an actual event. Gary McCord (the commentator with the handlebar mustache in the movie) is an actual commentator and pro on the Champions Tour. In a tournament he had a similar shot to McAvoy's. He needed a birdie to win and went for it. He shot over and over again and finally got it in 15 strokes. In the movie McAvoy holes out the shot and gets it in 12.Link"...learning that 85% of Tin Cup was a rip-off of Gary McCords life..."Link
moefuggenbrew: Why would she agree to this just bc he is pony ing up the dough? She already has enough of that to be set for generations.
