That guy must have done something to really piss off those elephants.

They have long memories and tend to hold grudges.

They really have trouble letting go of even the most minor slight, and will tend to obsess over social interactions that where they think they have been judged or criticized. For example there's these two women at work were talking about this other woman and said that she was super pretty and they hated how pretty she was but she was super nice so they couldn't hate her they wished she was mean so they could hate her. But then she started flirting with the regional manager and even went out for lunch with him and they were all happy because now they knew she was a total slut and they they had a legit reason for hating on her.
