The first one wasn't too bad, I'd be up for a second one but only if it's completely different characters. Their story is done, move on to a different group of sad sack losers to get sent to the past and fix their lives. Hell make it women this time.

I saw that Cusack isn't doing it. I think he's too serious. I mean, he's getting older. I'd think he'd want to do more.Maybe not.
I'd include him anyway, because I write a lot of Stargate fan-fiction and know a little something on the subject.

Every time they thought the guy's arm was going to get cut off, I laughed. I couldn't help myself, just something about the way they delivered what is normally really stupid humor made it funny.

It's strength was that it didn't try to make a point or have any underlying social commentary, it was just trying to be 100 minutes of laughs- something it succeeded at fairly well.

terrible original movie. there were maybe three laughsand the rest was overwrought and had no consistency.

That's how it starts.

Not a particularly funny movie... But a movie with a few funny scenes. I can't see how a sequel is going to be any good.

I thought it was entertaining enough. Certainly exceeded my expectations. While I don't know that a sequel is particularly warranted, I'll give it a chance. I feel that we're due for a better-than-expected sequel in the world of cinema.

Anywho, it was a fun movie. Nothing ridiculously good, but entertaining enough for a weekend matinee showing. Shame on them for deploying the Black Eyed Peas without fair warning, though.

I can't imagine a sequel being anything other than along the lines of The Hangover Part II. It's going to be too much like the first film.

I'm willing to be proven wrong, though.
