Does this mean Josie is coming back to Chelsea?

This either goes one of two ways for Pep:

1) He's a success and gets to go for any job he wants, or

2) He blows and gets exposed for being only good with Messi.

Either way, he's not staying in the Bundesliga.

Insert Bayer/Headache joke.

There's no reason to have to choose between the two, both beers have their delicious place in my tummy.

sotua: Insert Bayer/Headache joke.

It would work better if this was Bayer Leverkusen, and not Bayern Munich.

Hahahahahahahahaha

ADubs86: 2) He blows and gets exposed for being only good with Messi.

He also had Ronaldinho in his prime at Barca, so you're right about that

I really don't see Pep fitting into the Bundesliga, at all. This might end horribly.

Didn't he get rid of Ronaldinho and Deco as soon as he was appointed?

Yep. He ditched them and built around La Masia players. Now we get to see if he can either a.) teach the tiki-taka system to a completely new set of players; or b.) adapt his style to suit his players.

He was choosing between Germany and Ireland?

Guardiola should be just fine at Bayern Munich. This really was the best move for him if he wasn't going to coach Barcelona anymore.

Bayern plays a possession style game like Barcelona, averaging the most possession in Europe behind Barcelona. They have a fantastic youth academy that has produced world class talents like Schweinsteiger, Lahm, Kroos, Mueller, Alaba, and the new kid on the block Emre Can. So Pep will have that to draw on.

He'll also be working with Matthias Sammer, who has worked with German youth on the national level. This gives him excellent knowledge of the different youth systems in Germany.

Basically what I'm getting at is that outside of Barcelona, Bayern Munich was arguably the best place for Pep to go.

Loud_Mouth_Soup: He was choosing between Germany and Ireland?

Clearly not as although Ireland's only beer* is a stout, it was first brewed in London and there are many. many English stouts nestling amongst fine bitters and ales.

*yes I know there are other Irish beers, not many are commenly exported. If I tried really hard I might find Guinness, Murphey's and Beamish in my town. Probably not Beamish now I think about it.
