And because of the way the No Fly List works, everybody with the same first and last name as that grade-schooler will also be on the No Fly List, as will all people with names that are nearly identical but off by just one or two letters.

It won't be banned, but you will be limited to a 7 round chain. That's the magic number that makes it go from deadly weapon of mass destruction to perfectly safe. I would say you could limit the chain to 8 rounds, but that would just be silly. Oh, and you better not even think about mounting a plastic bayonet on that thing!

The latex in the sticky dart suction cups can cause allergies and allow flight fast enough to cause serious eye injuries, so they will be replaced with with cotton balls. Also no nerf guns can be powered by a spring containing any part or component thicker than 18 ga or longer than eighteen inches when fully extended.

No folding stocks or "orange flash of darts" suppressors.  Mental health background checks for anyone purchasing one...just like the "medical marijuana" prescription doctors.

This isn't a liberal vs. conservative issue. This is a sanity vs idiocy issue. Most issues in public schooling are.

Why not? According to Hillary there is a Vast Right Wing Conspiracy. Did Hillary lie? According to many Fark Liberals and Fark Progressives there are all kinds of malevolent conspiracies involving Karl Rove, Dick Cheney, and the Koch brothers. Are Fark Liberals and Fark Progressives lying?

If Hillary and Fark Liberals and Fark Progressives are not lying, then if not one then why not the other?

Please try to actually give a rational answer instead of calling names.

Ah yes, another defensive, whinging post from a minimal-info probably alt account profile.

The request against name calling was not to protect my delicate sensibilities; I have none. No, it is just that I am easily bored, and the constant drumbeat of ad hominem, straw men, evasion, and broken context from Fark Liberals and Fark Progressives DOES get a tad old.

>>>>>So basically, "The other side does it too!"

Cute. Nice evasion that allows you not to answer.

>>>>I'm not defending or presuming to speak for other farkers or Hillary Clinton.

Of course you aren't

>>>>I have no idea what conspiracy theories you are even referring to.

Really! You don't have fuzzy recollections of Hillary - on national television no less - accusing the Vast Right Wing Conspiracy of wrecking her Health Care plan? Really? And you have no fuzzy recollections of the herping and derping from the usual crowd of Fark Liberals and Fark Progressives about the Koch brothers and Karl Rove and Dick Cheney (among others). It was considered part of the Rosary that there was this giant conspiracy on the Right. You don't have any idea about that? Really? Hmmmmm..... selective amnesia, or doublethink????

Your infantile response doesn't address my post in any meaningful way.

Really?

YOU said:
>>>>>Do you actually believe that there is a vast liberal conspiracy to indoctrinate children into their evil socialist ways? If so please seek professional help.

And I said: "Why not? According to Hillary there is a Vast Right Wing Conspiracy. Did Hillary lie? According to many Fark Liberals and Fark Progressives there are all kinds of malevolent conspiracies involving Karl Rove, Dick Cheney, and the Koch brothers. Are Fark Liberals and Fark Progressives lying? If Hillary and Fark Liberals and Fark Progressives are not lying, then if not one then why not the other?"

In other words, if you are a conservative who believes in Leftist conspiracies you are obviously nuts. BUT if you are a Lefty who believes in Rightist conspiracies you are obvious "right on."

So..... what is there different about Leftists that makes their belief in conspiracy sane?

And what did you mean when you said: "....address my post in any meaningful way."?

Meaningful to whom? You? to protect your comfortable little Reality Bubble?

Please try to respond in a meaningful way (no ad hominem, straw men, evasion, broken context, hasty generalization or other illogical responses. Just answer the questions honestly. Thanks.

Note to observers: the key to getting liberals and "progressives" (and, yes, many conservatives as well) to stop lying/evading is to simply ask them uncomfortable questions, One of three things will happen:
1) they will respond with even more outlandish irrational evasions or obvious lies. - 75%
2) they will refuse to answer (often saying something like: "Well! You are obviously insane/evil/whatever and have nothing to offer, so welcome to my Ignore list") - 20%
3) they will actually attempt to respond rationally* and will get themselves in a contradictory muddle. - 5%

* The days of the thinking liberal are long gone. Virtually all "thought" on the Left today is knee-jerk emotional response, and actual reasoning is formulated after-the-fact to lend support to the emotion-based position.

I've seen worse. I remember I had some (empty) water guns, and the TSA wouldn't allow them on planes. They were obviously water pistols and empty (one looked like that rocket ship one, green and transparent), but told me I had to dispose of them. $3 down the drain.

I'm not a liberal or an alt and while I am an American I haven't resided within the country since 1990 so you could perhaps excuse my lack of knowledge about the healthcare debates and Hilliary Clinton's specific remarks about it. I was not one of the 'herper derpers' or whatever you called them on fark claiming any sort of right wing conspiracy and I will continue to refrain from doing so.

I have not once made any claims about the factual content of conspiracies that have been claimed by the left wing. The only conspiracy that I judged was the, 'all teachers are liberals trying to indoctrinate our childrens!' one that I often see on fark. I didn't bring up the other one because it was not discussed in this thread and I was attempting to stick to matter at hand. The response I received could be summarized as 'no you!' Until I see something else to respond to I don't know what else I can add to the discussion.

No, I will not give you my address. You can take my NERF, only after walking past getting hit in the head a couple dozen times and presenting a real gun. :p

I'll need for when all the real guns are outlawed, so I can take over the whole country.

Something I've always wondered: if someone on the no-fly list legally changes their name, does the no-fly list get updated with that info? Given the usual efficiency and brainpower exhibited by the TSA, I'm guessing no.

And if the list did get the new info, then you'd have a good way to louse up some politician's life by changing your name to theirs. Alan Grayson would be my first choice.

Your guess would be correct. A Canadian guy Wii had problems for having the same name as a terrorist solved his problem in exactly that way.

OK, so I guess we all can take as fact that you believe that conspiracy claims, no matter who makes them, from the left or the right, are nonsense. Is that correct?

If so, I have no problem with that. You are consistent.

Small threadjack: Be that as it may, I'd like to draw your attention to several actual, real historical political conspiracies. Conspiracies have and do exist. But probably not under every rock. And it is probable that they exist on all sides of the political spectrum. Link
