One of my favorite pastimes in this modern age of ours is to browse LiveLeak and Youtube for videos of trains running in to things. Intellectually it is a satisfying glimpse of the awesomeness that is physics. On a more visceral level there is usually a very loud bang. Maybe there will be dashcam footage of this later today.
