Maybe they can finally get down to creating some long overdue laws regarding women's health issues.

Uranus Is Huge!: Maybe they can finally get down to creating some long overdue laws regarding women's health issues.

If by "women's health issues" you mean "laws that force various objects that look suspiciously like a penis into the vaginae of women of reproductive age", I expect you will not be disappointed.

By contrast, House Majority Leader Eric Cantor's (R-VA) so-called "Repealing the Job-Killing Health Care Law Act" had a total of 182 cosponsors by the fourth day of the 112th Congress, and House Republicans successfully voted to repeal Obamacare a staggering 33 times during the last session - costing taxpayers an approximate $50 million

I dunno.  I think a lot of people would be okay if she offed herself.  I know I would.  Sure, I'd love to see her get some much needed help and maybe with the proper medications, she could become a good person, but if that's not an option, the world would be a much better place without her.

I assumed the gun comment implied fear that she would go on a rampage, not kill herself. Still think that more likely.

Sorry, not good enough for her to be alone.

The more effective public relations move would've been for Republicans to publicly chastise her for wasting time and money on such a thing. Each political party should have the discipline, resolve and guts to kick out their worst elements. The leadership, fellow members of her caucus, should've admonished Bachmann even before she set forth in motion the moving pats necessary to forge yet another bill. They should've said, "No, Ms Batshiat, you're not doing this; it's a waste of time and tax dollars, and you're making our party look like idiots. [like they needed more help] Either legislate sensibly or get out." Democrats should do the same. Maybe that would begin to send a message that "hey, we're serious about governing."

Granted... that's a serious "unlikely" tag.

Why should the Democrats do anything? Bachmann is just giving them more ammo for 2014.

Nope, instead they put her on the House Intelligence Committee

Her campaign staff are starting to dish the dirt on her because she still hasn't paid them, on grounds that they refused to sign a non-disclosure agreement that even covered "illegal or unethical actions" by the campaign.

Bachmann should just wait till ten days Obamacare goes into full effect and they'll pass a measure to stop Obamacare rules going into effect on January 1, 2014. Hey the GOP saved the 100 watt bulb, they can stop Obamacare too.

Strangely enough, that's the place where she can do the least damage to the party, as she's not allowed to talk about a lot of it. I

/now, the country? That's another story.

This.  Pretty much the entire Congress is made up of young and old black, Hispanic, and Asian Atheists and Muslims.  If you're a white male, you pretty much have nothing going for you these days.

Word. Every thread where I have encouraged the HoR (lol) to help women make educated decisions about their bodies has been subsequently red-lit. If I didn't know better I would say the Fark.com braintrust wants more dead babies.
