and who doesn't love lettuce on their pizza?

Wrong marketing strategy. They should charge extra and bill it as a weight loss aid.

well since all tacos have lettuce on them, KFC and burger king both have chicken burgers with lettuce on them and pizza hut has had multiple repeat threads on fark about ways to beat their one bowl only rule at their salad bar I would expect that yes they do have lots of lettuce.

That's lettuce? When I've had to eat there I've always assumed it was part of the packaging.

Taco Bell has lettuce on its crispy tacos, Pizza Hut sometimes has a salad bar, and Burger King puts some lettuce on its burgers. I don't think I've ever seen a shred of lettuce at a KFC at all. Cabbage, yes, but it's safely coated in a creamy white dressing in the cole slaw.

I hope the ultimate consensus was suicide.

The food industry is what is preventing good, safe food processing.
Increase safety and shelf life and threaten their PROFITS.
Or so the sociopathic fools believe.

2013-01-15 12:58:35 PM
That explains why the grocery stores here are either have no lettuce or have really crappy lettuce.
The stuff they had on-sale yesterday looked worse than the stuff I threw out the day before that because it has gone brown.

I have found it difficult to eat at fast food restaurants for a while. I find it hard to eat something prepared by minimum-wage-earning teenagers who actively hate me for even coming into their store.

Don't worry, the lack of ecoli lettuce will not decrease the amount of diarrhea you will have after eating taco bell.

People who eat at those places think iceberg lettuce is health food.

Translation: It's already been sold, and you idiots ate it. Good luck with that. Now, we're going to cover our asses while you attempt to excrete your entire bodies through yours.

Most of those are fake plastic salads that sit behind the counter so it looks like they have vegetables.

I avoid getting lettuce in my tacos. Not just because of the e coli risk, but also the chopped (why couldn't it shredded?) iceberg lettuce is nasty. Every bite squirting muddy-tasting water into your mouth.

I just ate an Arby's fish sandwich, and I'm glad that obviously their lettuce is safe because it hasn't been recalled.

If your lettuce is white or brown, the only place it goes is the mulch pile. GREEN lettuce (the color it's supposed to be) goes in my face.

Finding green lettuce at the local fastfoodery is like finding a gym in one.

I don't understand the purpose of lettuce.
It just sits there. Has no real value or taste. It's just there for no reason.

Tomatoes are even worse. No only are they pointless, but they also affect the taste of what I'm eating.

It annoys me that I always have to make my orders at Wendy's extra long by telling them, "No lettuce, no tomatoes, no mayo, no pickles, no onions...blah blah blah blah blah."

Quit trying to be fancy with all of that extra crap on your burgers.

Seems that the only lettuce you get at these places are the white parts that are full of nothing but foul tasting water.

Seven bucks?

More like 1-2 bucks.

I rarely go to any of those places except Pizza Hut, and I didn't recall any lettuce there. So I'm glad someone does.

I just say "Ketchup only" They nearly always get it right. Occasionally asked if I still want the cheese, but otherwise few incidents of getting it wrong.

Why do we let Canada be a country?

2013-01-16 12:40:12 AM
Has subby ever ate at a fast food place?

Taco Bell has lettuce on about half their products as well as their taco salad. KFC has like 5 or 6 different salads as well as lettuce on their sandwiches. Some Pizza huts have salad bars if you eat at the restaurant. Burger king has salads as well as putting lettuce on nearly every sandwich they make.

2013-01-16 02:13:11 PM
Canada is refusing anyone with a DUI according to an earlier thread this week.

That demographic overlaps nicely with the people who eat at these restaurants, so Americans are safe.

Thanks Canada!!
